Luckily for you, anon, we’ve been recently researching this!

The first thing you must do is present her parents with an american flag, and firmly shake her fathers hand.

Once this has been done, you must make it clear to her parents that you are a nonthreat. Mention The Beatles multiple times, and assert that they are indeed your favorite band and possibly the only good band that has ever existed, ever. Eat the bland food they present to you without complaint or reaction; blandness is a quality that all white people strive for, and this is exemplified in the foods they choose to eat.

If either of her parents attempt to start a conversation that is going to end in them being racist, put on Don’t Stop Believing. This will distract them for the entirety of the song. If they notice that you’ve done so multiple times, switch songs to Living on a Prayer.
