"Nope, it's meant to do that," Connor shrugged, "You'd be falling over too if you'd drank a bottle of amnesia potion,"

Watching her play was very amusing. She obviously had no idea what she was doing and he was just waiting for it to get more scary. He watched as the character walked through a door, and was met by a horrible looking monster with a hung open jaw, huge, meaty claws, and thick chains covering it's body.

"You might wanna run,"

She frowned slightly. “Either this is supposed to happen or your game disk is completely fucked and you may wanna invest in another” she chuckled a little and looked towards him, giving him a nudge. 

Moving her attention back to the screen Ella refused to show hwo nervous the game was making her. She was waiting, prepared for something to pounce at the screen or attack from ahead. But she couldn’t be sure what was coming, that was the worst, the suspense and the not-knowing.

Mason: For you? Find another person to do that or get a solid 10 inches of paper towels between you and the spider.

Connor: Don't take the mickey, you know how much I don't like them. Can you come and help me?

Mason: I'm like half way across camp, don't make me walk that far.

Connor: But I don't want to touch it!

"Riiight...." Connor smirked, trying to keep the amusement out of his voice. He couldn't help but throw in the sarcastic, elongated vowel sound though. He was starting to sound like Mason.

He crossed his legs and leant forward to get a better look at the screen. Just as he leant forward however, the camera angle on screen suddenly started to shake and jerk as the drowsy character stumbled around, trying to stay on his feet. This made the controls hard to use, as the gamer could barely see where they were going.

He raised an eyebrow, “A doddle?” He watched her for a moment longer then faked a surprised gasp, “Oh! Could it be that Ella’s scared of a video game? C’mon it’s only been two minutes it can’t be that bad.”

He was just joking of course; she should be scared, that was the entire point of the game, and without that element it could hardly be called a horrror game, could it?

‘This should be funny,’ Connor thought, smirking to himself as he opened the game file on his laptop. He clicked new game and handed it to Ella, and sat back to get a proper view of her reactions.
