2024 Team Highlight 41

Our forty first team in the 2024 Reverse Big Bang was @connor-sent-by-cyberlife working with @rking200

@connor-sent-by-cyberlife had an idea for a story in which Connor is a music student who studies singing by day, and sings in an elite nightclub called The Red Room at night. This is where Hank finds him, and proceeds to fall in love, with his voice, and then with the man behind it.

They did an incredible seventeen artworks for this story, but tumblr won't allow us to show them all, so we have a selection for your perusal here

@rking200 took this story idea and turned into the mammoth and incredibly ambitious The Red Room, an explicit rated Hankcon fic which sets out with the premise that Connor is a music student, studying under his vocal coach Elijah Kamski, and Hank is a depressed and lonely man who finds his way into the titular club one night, only to fall for the singer. But then the story takes dramatic turns, including a stalking subplot, and an exploration of Hank's depression and addiction.

It's a long read, and not for the faint of heart, but well worth the time and effort to go and give the writer and artist some love for their work. All the artwork we couldn't fit into this post is also contained in the story on AO3.

Incomplete - A Convin mini-fanfiction

This little fanfiction was based on an idea by @connor-sent-by-cyberlife.

This little project started over a year ago and was just sitting in my WIPs for a looooong time. I tried writing it in a different style than I usually write and it was proving more difficult than I anticipated. Then I ended up not liking it when I read it again. I editing it again and again and again and here it is, finally, a small fanfiction written from Connor's POV.
