Something pretty to brighten up your day Ty Mcewan is killing it with depth in this one I can see him becoming a regular here! a lovely cut at the top with enough colour and brightness to make it feminine! I am not usually a can of biomech style work (I don't dislike it, its just not for me) but this is pretty enough and bright enough without being over the top for me to like it! She's a pretty lady! So feminine and flowy, nice blends between colour Toni Moore really does have it all going on in her work, I am one of the luck people who has work from her (even though I really need to get it finished - Sorry Toni!). I hated Geometry in school, not so much now!

I have a weird way of starting all these posts, it just feels natural. However nothing looks natural about these tattoos, I love them (dont get me wrong) and the line work is sick! Sweet as a nut!

I don't see many squirrel tattoos and when I do I dont pay as much attention to them as I probably should, but this is beautiful, the soft purple contrasting the oaks and ochres, the blues pulling it all in to the centre, its a gorgeous tattoo with a lovely colour pallet, and I very rarely like browns! By the Grace of God, the floral tattoos have improved

Now I don't usually recommend "job stoppers" no matter how beautiful; in fact it was yesterday (at the time of writing this) that I turned away clients just because I didn't think it was fit to tattoo them in such places when they had 0 other tattoos. Saying that though I must say this is gorgeous, this is the type of hand that could punch me in the nose and as long as he kept the design upwards then I would take it - is there any bigger compliment than "I would go through pain to see your work"? One of the BEZt!

Okay so the joke wasn't the greatest, sue me. I have no idea what this tattoo evolved from (if anything) but I love the overlay, the colours and the softness of the background compared to its foreground elements. Its one of them questions that is always asked; "How did you get started?" and I always find it hard to answer, everything seems clunky and uninformative, this is a nice video though that talks you through it all. I guess its a subject none of us can really answer (well a lot of us at least) it just happens, it simply is. I cant pick a defining moment nor can I think of one exact point where I thought this is exactly what I want, I just knew and still know. A job suggests that your slog foot into work and slog foot home just to repeat this daily, to me its not a job, its a career, its a passion, I find myself spending more and more time just drawing, watching, talking and thinking about the industry. There's a storm a-coming.

I guess every geek loves a stormtrooper. so here is one that's a little different from one of my favourite tattoo artists. This guy is absolutely killing it and has been for years; I have been following his work for quite a while and I am sure he will be seen a lot more on here because he pushes harder than any artists that I know. I always see the saying "plough deep while sluggards sleep" connected with him and he really does. Its the minute details like the spotting on the mask and in the drop-shading. Smooth bold and completely incredible.

Hannah Aitchison Sailor Jerry Hold Fast the glamorous side. Simple and sexy, just a quick chat about herself, her work and her influences, I don't really know what else to say. I always get annoyed when customers just talk about TV shows (which we shall not mention as I don't want to be sued) as if they are the only tattoo artists in the word, but I really do think Hannah deserves all the credit she gets (that's not to say the others don't). I didnt really know what to title this, its not even really what I am into tattoo wise but none the less its pretty awesome. Stir Crazy.

I definitely wouldn't want to wake up with these tattoos after a hard night on the cruel lady that is alcohol. Not because I dislike them but because the crazy detailed patterning and texture work would completely mess with my brain. I have seen my fair share of dot-work and I have to say I am definitely a fan, but this is something a little different, I cant quite place my finger on why.
