back on track, getting on the healthy train
more than a year ago i lost lots of weight (roughly 30 pounds/15 kgs) but after that i moved to europe and started living a junkie life style there.
i've been through lots of changes, physically and emotionally. when i got back to my country, i realised i lost that many weight cultivating quite unhealthy habits (purging and substituting meals for cigarettes, for example).
i haven't give much of a thought about how changing my image drastically would, somehow, change my mind and also change my relationship with food, but it did. now i decided to get the healthy train.
this bellow is my nutritional plan, for a healthy body and mind.
the idea is to accumulate the things archived along the weeks, adding more goals every sunday.
rules i must keep in mind:
it's ok to crave something, and it's ok to eat anything in the right amounts
if i'm in any way not comfortable, i can skip a week, repeat a week, even put this whole plan on hold
keeping a sane mind is the most important purpose
never starve
i won't be in control all the time, and that's alright
i'll progressively drop the restrictions when i feel like i don't need too much control anymore
this is a life-time change, no need to rush
.
nutritional plan
first week - nurturing to bloom
getting my body ready for the good things to come
goals:
eat 3 portions of fruit a day and 4 portions of veggies
drink plenty of water (at least 2L a day)
do home yoga twice
second week - bye fries
goals:
avoid all kinds of deep fried food or anything too oily (except for coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil and nuts - they have good fats :D)
walk twice a week
third week - drunk, only in love
goals:
avoid alcoholic beverages (including my beloved wine)
fast walk three times a week
forth week - i'm sweet enough
goals:
avoid sugar, specially refined
avoid all kinds of sweets too :P (except for dark chocolate)
alternate fast walking/running three times a week
fifth week - carbs are friends
goals:
reduce the amount of rice and bread i consume (which is a big problem when you're a vegetarian)
prioritize highly proteic key food (such as beans, white cheese, nuts, green leaves)
alternate fast walking/running three times a week
sixth week - progress, not process
goals:
reduce the amount of processed food i eat (breads, sauces for pasta and salad, biscuits and saltines, etc)
try to eat as fresh and varied as possible
eat one vegan meal a day
eat one raw snack a day
run three times a week
seventh week - reinforce and establishment
repeat week six to consolidate a healthier life style
eighth week - practising self control
start to reintroduce some of the avoided food, giving in to crave surges more than i used to do during the first weeks
be happy :)
wish me luck!

like our appearances are only based on boys opinions and we think we need a thigh gap because of them...

Abercrombie and Fitch has decided that anyone over a size 10 jean isn’t sexy enough for their clothing line, and doesn’t want them shopping in their stores and sullying their clothes. They decided to only hire good looking people so that only good looking people will come into their store.
“It’s almost everything. That’s why we hire good-looking people in our stores. Because good-looking people attract other good-looking people, and we want to market to cool, good-looking people. We don’t market to anyone other than that,”
That is an actual quote from their CEO Mike Jeffries.
I know I don’t have a lot of followers but this is something that isn’t right. They’re excluding people from being able to buy their clothes and they make it seem like it isn’t okay for people to be slightly chubbier or bigger than the average “cool kid” to own their clothes. This is something that shouldn’t be allowed to happen.
I’ve seen tumblr do some amazing things, and this place would be even more amazing to me if we were somehow able to show the douchebag who runs this company that his elitist, skinny-people only attitude ISN’T okay, and that we won’t stand for it.

It’s weird how in animals seeing ribs/collar&hip bones is considered sick or even abusive, but in people that’s considered beautiful.

after 45 minutes running i tried to do this
i was simply DYING within 10 minutes
but anyway, my work out killed today, i bought a lot of fitness clothes (sweatpants, yoga pants, shirts) and i'm getting back on track bitches!
i'm still torn between waking up at 6 to work out before classes or just sleep more and go to the gym at the afternoon while i still have it free.
