It’s So Close!
Hey everyone,
Your mods just wanted to give you a couple reminders: 1. Works are due in 5 days (!!!) on Wednesday 2/13 by 12pm EST/9pm PST
2. How to submit works: You can go to the collection dashboard and hit Post to Collection and it will open the typical posting window. You can also use Post New Work like you normally would and in the Post to Collections/Challenges field type "ConsentEvent2019"
3. Please do not connect your work to a series or another of your works, or mention other work titles in the notes until the author reveals on 2/28 as this removes your anonymity. If you have already done this, please edit! 4. If you need to edit your work for any reason go to your AO3 dashboard and navigate to Works then select Works in Collections. Your fic should show up near the top as “Unrevealed: [your work title] by Anonymous”. Below the work description you should see an Edit button.

Spirit of Event Guidelines
Hello again my fellow consent lovers!
The mods just wanted to put forward a couple of additional recommendations/guidelines for your submissions based on some conversations we’ve been having. If you already submitted a work, this is unrelated so don’t worry. (We haven’t begun reviewing them yet.) We just want to make sure that the spirit of the event is very clear for folks. To this end, as you write and submit your works, we would like you to:
Ask yourself if your submission is in the spirit of this event. Is it a work that promotes positive portrayals of consent?
Ask yourself if your work is about consent or merely contains consent in some form? We are hoping that readers and writers will be excited about the works submitted because of the consent aspect. Consent should be the kink!
Please use relevant tags, particularly tags as warnings. (Appropriate tagging does not mean noncon or dubcon. These are still unallowed in this event.)
