Character Information

Big Bo, dubbed "The Strong Man", is a very shy and awkward person who doesn't have much to say. Because of his big gorilla-like body, he was often misunderstood even as a child. Big Bo is an outcast from the rest of the children which caused him to spend a lot of time outdoors and with animals. His love of animals stems from this, especially for small and fuzzy animals. Big Bo's goal in life is to become a great veterinarian and treat all kinds of exotic animals. Because the friends he has found in Tales Land do not judge him on his appearance, he started to become more sociable and outgoing. Big Bo is beginning to come to terms with his big body. He is willing to go to great lengths to help out his friends if they are in trouble. Sometimes Big Bo is even happy that he has this big body since there are certain things he can do for people that other people cannot do. In terms of his running abilities, Big Bo's greatest strength lies in his Power and Speed. However, he has a very weak Acceleration and almost no Control.

Big Bo's greatest asset in the Tales Runner Tournament is his Power and Speed. Especially since his power is so great, that he can knock his opponents down (bamping). His speed is also very high and his recovery rate is decent. However, Big Bo cannot change directions very well because he lacks Control and his low Acceleration makes him waste more Dash. His best compatibility in terms of relationship is with Ocean.

Big Bo was a simple and innocent boy. When his pet parrot ‘Dunga’ became sick, he searched everywhere for the cure. When he heard about the Wish Stone, he dropped everything and became a Tales Runner.

Big Bo has the highest base Power of all characters in the game, which is compensated by the lowest base Control. He is considered useful in races where Control isn't an issue and his Power and Max Speed provide significant advantage.

In the Korean release of Tales Runner Big Bo's character model was renewed as part of the February 15, 2017 update.

Charlie, dubbed "The Athlete", is a very active person who is a natural born leader. He is the local leader of his neighborhood gang. Charlie excels in every sports that he participates in. Although a bit short for his age, Charlie is still a growing boy. Everyone likes Charlie and he attracts a lot of friends. Charlie also likes to joke around and play pranks on people. He is the most balanced person in terms of running abilities. Charlie has neither any strong strengths nor weaknesses.

In the Tales Runner Tournament, Charlie will do very well in all the maps if he gets some nice equipments. Because Charlie is well rounded and balanced in his stats, Charlie will do very well in the Tournament with the help of a good partner. His best compatibility in terms of relationship is with Ming Ming.

In other releases of Tales Runner, this character is called Chowon, Kwong Kwong, or Jaka. In the OGPlanet release of Tales Runner, this character is called Billy.

Charlie has no wish to fulfill using the wish stone and had become a tales runner simply because he enjoys running. Charlie has balanced stats with no significant weaknesses which makes it suitable for new players and for general racing. Later into the game its lower sum of stat points (12) and lack of strong stats may become limiting.

Charlie's Max Speed and Control stats were updated from 3 to 4.

Charlie appearance as a young slim child. He has brown shaggy hair and azure eyes. He is wearing a blue t-shirt and a white long sleeve shirt underneath. He also wears white shorts and a flip flops with the caption TR in blue.

In February 15, 2017 Charlie's character model was renewed. According to her new model design, he still has the same hair design and his style of eyes changed a bit. Now he wears a jeans jacket and white t-shirt underneath. He also wears denim bermuda shorts and some blue boots.

Unlike most MMOs, there are no classes in Tales Runner. However, there are unique characters that you can play specifically whom you can customize with lots of clothing items. Each character has their own unique voice and playing style. Thus far, there is a total of 10 (GPotato) characters released. There are other characters that are called "Transform Characters" and "Special Characters" which you can own. You may collect as many or as few characters as you like. There is no restriction on specific characters you must play or own.

Main characters are the playable avatars in Tales Runner. Each character has their own unique background story and personality. You can choose from an initial four characters (GPotato) when you start your adventure in Tales Runner. All characters are purchasable through the Item Shop.

A wise elder of Tales Land, Elder Izarth has been an adviser to many generations of Fantasy Kings. Elder Izarth only awakens during time of crisis. Otherwise, he would be in a suspended sleep in a castle tower within Tales Land Castle to preserve his strength. Very little is known about Elder Izarth for he is a very secretive person. A kind and humble person, he had stopped aging at the age of 30. Some believe he is born from the union of a fairy and a unicorn which allows him such a long lifespan and powerful prophet powers. Because of the disturbance of power he sensed while he was in his suspended sleep, Elder Izarth awoke to advise the current king of the impending doom upon Tales Land. He advises King Henry to unlock the Angel Alchemy in an effort to stop the growing powers of the Devil Alchemy. He also tells King Henry that shortly after the war between the Angels and Devils subside, a new evil will be lurking and will unfold its evil plans. King Henry will face his worse crisis yet and must bring unity between the two factions in order to fight off the new impending evil. Elder Izarth is often found in the Tales Park waiting to tell his story about the Angel and Devil Alchemy. He can also (with the right materials) create Mantras and Redemption of Chaos Alchemy Armors.

Her fortunes are rather special in that they give you special bonus stats. The Fortune Teller gives you 3 choices in fortunes that call upon the powers of spirits, divine, and stars to read your fortune. She gives special discounts to couples and married folks because she has a very romantic heart. On the side, she also sells Treasure Boxes that you can try for luck.

There is most likely lost media behind this collab, I've tried my best to grab what I can. Though some ads and other things are lost media.

A Collab between McDonalds and One Piece where you could get two manga freebies at the chain restaurant. It ran from August 28 to September 9.

People who purchase this year's 40th issue of the magazine, which will ship on September 3, will receive a ticket for one free hamburger at McDonald's. The coupon will be valid at any one of the roughly 2,900 McDonald's locations in Japan, and it will expire on September 9.

Manga fans who log into the free Wi-Fi available at about 2,400 McDonald's locations in Japan can read more than 1,000 pages of manga through the Shonen Jump+ app. Parts of a total of 20 titles will be available to read, and offerings will include One Piece, Gintama, Hunter X Hunter, My Hero Academia, and Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs.

ALVIDA PIRATES

The Alvida Pirates were a group of pirates led by the female pirate "Iron Mace" Alvida. They were the first enemy pirates Luffy was seen to encounter. The crew has since dissolved into an alliance with the Buggy Pirates, forming the Buggy and Alvida Alliance, which later becomes the Pirate Dispatch Organization known as Buggy's Delivery. They are one of the antagonist groups in the Romance Dawn Arc.

The Alvida Pirates' Jolly Roger is a traditional skull on crossed bones. However, the skull is depicted from the side and has a pink heart on it. It's the first of very few Jolly Rogers in One Piece on which the skull is seen in profile.

Although Alvida's bounty of 5,000,000 beli is above the average East Blue pirate, the strength of this crew is substantially below par for the standards shown later in One Piece. The crew has a relatively small number of members and their captain was defeated with a single blow of Luffy's Gomu Gomu no Pistol. The remaining members of her crew were too scared to fight Luffy after their captain was taken down.

The Alvida Pirates originally used the Miss Love Duck as their main ship. After Alvida herself was defeated by Luffy, left her crew and consumed the Sube Sube no Mi, she is seen on a new ship, introduced in Buggy's cover story. She picks up Buggy who was also defeated by Luffy and they reunited with the Buggy Pirates. Neither this ship nor the Miss Love Duck has been seen since, as Alvida boarded the Big Top. The entire ship is shaped like a heart in design. It has hearts that encircle the entire ship across the sides. In place of a Jolly Roger on the sail, it has eight hearts in a line. It also has a small table on one end of the ship.

This group is one of the few pirate crews that is not described in detail and is only featured in one chapter.

In the manga the Alvida Pirates are seen cleaning the Miss Love Duck which is docked at an island that can be assumed to be the crew's secret base. The three named members of the crew and Koby find Luffy in the wine storage when the latter breaks out of a barrel he took a nap in and which Koby had just rolled to the storage.

They are suddenly hit by Alvida's club as she threw it at them thinking her crew men are being lazy - which was actually true. (The storage hut is destroyed in the process.) To lead their captain's thoughts away from them the men inform Alvida about the "intruder", who had escaped with Koby.

When finding Luffy and Koby Alvida gets mad at them when they insult her but is easily defeated by the former. Too afraid of the man who defeated the captain they feared, Alvida's subordinates give Luffy and Koby a boat in which they can leave the island.

In the anime the crew captures a passenger liner and the events take place in the storage of the ship and on board. The crew fights Luffy first and is defeated before Alvida.

While the crew fights on the passenger liner, Nami is able to get on their ship unseen and steal their treasure after defeating an unnamed crew man by kicking him in the crotch.

Alvida then entered an alliance with the Buggy Pirates after Alvida saved their captain, Buggy. However none of her original crew or her ship have been seen since.
