If you’re American and will be 18 on or before November 5, will you take a moment and check your voter registration? Make sure you’re registered and your address is correct? I know, I know, you’ve voted before I’m sure it’s fine but�� would you just check, for me?

Cause I’d hate for you to run into an issue when it’s too late to fix it. And your vote is too goddamn important this year. Your voice is too goddamn important this year. Cause if we play our cards right, we can make Trump lose so badly that we never have to hear or see him again. And I’m so tired. And I know you are too.

The best way to check your voter registration/register for the first time is Vote.gov. That’s the official government website that’ll direct you to the actual state websites with no shenanigans. So I’ll just drop the link and give you a few minutes to check, ok?

You made sure everything was correct? Great!

Now, since some states are likely to try some nonsense, I want you to put an alert on your phone to check AGAIN on September 15. That’ll give you time to correct anything that some states hope you won’t notice. Because certain Republican-led states are gonna do everything they can to keep you from voting. But we’re not going to let them. Because fuck those guys.
