HOW ELECTRAMECCANICA FAILED ITS EMPLOYEES

As a general notice to the public, business partners, executive staff, and the board members of ElectraMeccanica (NASDAQ: SOLO).
ElectraMeccanica claims to create products that are “purpose built around the needs of their drivers”. This is a progressive statement from a forward-thinking corporation. For a company to create such personalized products, their corporate culture should align with their vision. Like other companies, ElectraMeccanica, has recently laid off staff. Of course, downsizing is not an uncommon practice. What is unfortunate, however, is the way in which ElectraMeccanica carried out their layoffs. To name but a few examples of how this corporation chose to lay off workers, down-sized employees faced:
Immediate termination without warning
Halt of salary payments on the day of termination with zero financial support through the end of the month
No severance package
Benefits to be terminated at the end of the month, during a pandemic
Sources state that ElectraMeccanica recently provided their vendors a 30-day notice with full payment. Despite this treatment of its vendors, ElectraMeccanica did not offer the same courtesy to their own hard-working employees.
In conclusion, downsizing is a reality and is never an easy decision to make. When faced with this type of decision, it is important to note the impact layoffs have on both the corporate culture and more importantly the families relying on this income to pay their bills. The way ElectraMeccanica chose to carry out layoffs provides deep insight into how little value the company and the executives running the organization hold for their employees. As an investor, I plead with the board to re-evaluate the leadership currently in place to ensure that the company does the right by their employees.
Please help spread the word as to how this organization treats their employees by passing this message through your network and social channels.

HOW ELECTRAMECCANICA CAR COMPANY FAILED TO FULFIL HER PROMISES TO ITS EMPLOYEES
To the members general public, general automobile company, vendors and most Especially the board members of electrameccanica car company.
The Great company has said in one of her statements to be called “a purpose built around the needs of their drivers” which really shows a great sign and statement of fulfilled promise but as we have it on the other side as really been an unfortunate one for the employees for the company’s unfair decision so far due to the:
Termination of its employees from work
No severance payment, as well as:
How the company had not paid the employees all through till the end of the month.
However, ElectraMeccanica provides their vendors a 30-day notice with full payment which makes them really committed but looks really absurd on the employees’ side because same commitment process hasn’t been made use of.
In conclusion, this condition has really serves as a correction to automobile company’s and might also be to the competitors of electrameccanica but most importantly as a plead to the board members of this great company to look into this unfavorable conditions the company’s employees had passed through.
