Been thinking about this a lot and there’s definitely so many different ways that the Visitor is recorded that would still count as observation, it’s insane.

It can be safely inferred that Typewrither’s manuscript WOULD mutate you if you properly sat down and read + processed it.

So I think a song would work! But only if you’re listening to the words. Presumably latte art would work as long as it was good enough.

…What if someone got a tattoo of the Visitor? Like. That would work. What if instead of gore, assholes send pictures of the Visitor through DMs.

depictions of the Visitor after it leaves (Denial, No Going Back, Failed/Flawed Ritual, or Eternal Fate) have got to be pretty weird. It can't JUST be the four in the apartment building Sam lives in. people all over the place have probably captured its image or described it adequately enough to count as observation if shown to another. so what sorts of depictions are out there? if just seeing that there's a shadow covering up something in the sky is enough to change someone, if someone drew an eye in the sky that imitated the likeness of the Visitor, would that do it? could someone write a song that could change anyone who heard it? dinner plate resembling the Visitor's eye. break out the fun china we're altering the human:cursed ratio tonight

Oh yeaaah! I forgot I drew this. Me n' the gang were discussing hostile Sams (Not evil Sam, like, Sam if he could get infected or witness and become a door encounter) so I flipped through the gameovers, remembered the telescope one and we concepted him being a little telescope creature.

Sorry that he's endearing when he's meant to be evil, I think he's Stargazer/Edwin's lackey. Also he kinda walks around same to the Nestor head, skittering little guy.

I really loved the descriptions of the painting Fredric made of the visitor. Looks like a normal bright blue sky, but if you look really closely... something is there, just barely seen by the naked eye but you can feel it deep down that its there. looking back...
