It's Friday, it's a lovely Fall day, and June is finally her normal size. Being a plane was fun for the experience, but it IS nice to feel balanced and familiar with herself again.

"It's only unfortunate if it isn't true," June says, looking away slyly. "But I understand. How do you mispronounce Megatron, anyhow? Mee-gat-trun?"

"I've had people call me Joan, before. And Jan. It can be a pain. Though you might be the first person to say I remind you of summer."

“Oh. Excuse me, the Megatron I’m familiar with has a different history. I shouldn’t have assumed.” She’s a bit embarrassed, now. And here she thought she had a good understanding of the situation. “Large instrument isn’t bad. It means you were always going to shape things.”

“June is from Juno, the wife of Jupiter and goddess of motherhood. I think your name might be better than mine.”

Megatron clears his throat, feeling a bit awkward. “With as many of us that exist, remembering the histories and differentiating between them…I imagine things bleed together after a while. If it’s easier, I am the Megatron that spent his early life commonly having his name mispronounced.”

He pauses then, considering. “I may have shaped things, but June… That is summer for the northern hemisphere of your planet, yes? Never mind celestial bodies and ridiculous fairytale gods; you seem to be encompassing of sunshine and warmth, particularly for those suffering through dark days.”

He doesn’t linger on the moment. “However, even if my name means ‘Large Instrument,’ please keep it to yourself. You may have the mature response that I shape things, but most will only see it as an unfortunate innuendo.”

She just offers a sheepish smile after she walks through, and then stretches. Every plate flexes, and there's a what feels like a yawn between her shoulders. Air cycles, and pushes out hospital drywall.

"Hypothetically, of course. I don't want Jack to panic until we know what's going on."

It’s a few minutes before June responds, though there is a lot of noise over the phone of people moving and talking.

“Okay, it should be clear. Thank you, Ratchet.”

    [ Activating bridge. ] And sure enough, there’s a portal, right in front of her, distorting a large portion of the hospital in the process but providing a way out without further harm. It would close again after he could see her new form appear in entirely.

    “… Hypothetically, hm?”

“If anything, you’d probably be named Lucien or Lucille. You named yourself after the Prime people saw as the devil, right? A popular devil in some human religions is Lucifer.”

For a moment, Megatron simply stares, trying to understand the context for this information. “No. My name has been Megatron since the moment I first came online. Even if I had chosen my name, it wouldn’t have been after a Prime - not with the rampant corruption of their lineage.” 

He sighs, not wanting to go on a tangent or remember the circumstances of his creation. “The ‘devil,’ by some theologies, is the god of death, Mortilus. He was part of the Guiding Hand.”
