a quick note in regards to shinee’s upcoming comeback: if you feel that you’re not ready for it … don’t force yourself. your mental health comes first always. 

if you feel that you won’t be able to listen to the album: you can still purchase it and hold off on listening until you feel more ready to. 

if you do not have the money to buy the album either digitally or physically do not feel bad about it. there are other ways that you can support such as: listening to the album on spotify, streaming the music video for the title track on youtube, searching for them on naver and other korean news portals, voting for them on music shows that all participation from international fans, etc.

sm is not going to disband shinee if they don’t end up selling hundreds of copies of the album. album sales are important but they’re not indicative of whether or not shinee will continue on as a group. their sales have always been consistently good and they do well in other areas. don’t let others make you feel bad if you cannot afford to buy a physical copy right away or even in general. not everyone can afford to buy idol merchandise and that’s okay.

for as many people who are ready to actively participate in promotions for the release there are just as many who’re not - who won’t be able to at all, or who will only be able to do so much and there’s nothing wrong with that. both the comeback and anniversary are going to be very difficult to get through so, to stress what was already said above: your mental health always comes first, put yourself before anything else and take care of those around you. happy, excited, sad, confused, conflicted. all feelings are valid.   💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
