I joined a painting class recently, I used to hate working with paint when I had to in high school art class but coming back to it now on my own terms it's actually really intuitive. maybe my high school's paints just sucked. this is a 40 x 50 cm canvas and I want to get a glossy white frame for it when I have some cash to spare

it's the year of the dragon, so while I was waiting for the design sheet to get finished I spent a lot of time thinking about what I wanted to do for that theme and ended up going with the one and only Kazuma Kiryu. this is the 2nd of Kiryu themed comms for dragon year, the other one is still cooking but should be very good too

commission for @thebrutalballadoffangusklot which also involved designing the clown. the character in the mirror already had a design and belongs to @cerastes. brown and blue is a pretty uncommon combination to work with so this was fun to do
