Advantages

Another advantage of Facebook is that you can use it to chat with your friends, too. Facebook provides a simple, small chatting application that you can use to chat with your friends who are friends on Facebook. You can video talk with them and drop them an audio message.

Facebook allows us to share content with friends and family, colleagues and others with what you desire to share like your photos, your opinion, your videos, concern, question, etc. You can also ask public opinion, create a poll.

Disadvantages

Many hackers have similar websites to Facebook. They continuously send emails to people asking to log in to their account to check new photos of their friends, or similar messages.

One of the biggest Facebook disadvantages is that it is addictive or can become addictive easily. 

Once you get connected with your Facebook friends you will realize how frequently you open Facebook and also spend so much time commenting, viewing others pictures, playing games or doing other stuff.

Twitter

Advantages

Twitter is a very simple social network because it allows you to be aware of everything that interests you, such as communities, celebrities or just people who are not famous but who you know. This is a very important advantage of Twitter.

The fact that everything has to be written in 140 characters makes the social network simple and practical for human thinking.

If you have written a tweet and one of your followers like what they see, this can be retweeted so this tweet is also seen by all the followers of your follower.

Disadvantages

With Twitter you have to summarize everything that is happening to you in 140 characters. This can generate problems by having to abbreviate everything that happens.

Another disadvantage of Twitter is that there is a lot of spam on the network and this is not so controlled. This also makes the network too fast in terms of number of Tweets and sometimes the trust of the network is lost.

It is very common to see insults from people towards companies.

Wiki

Advantages

Saves time. Sending a huge document to many people can really take up time and some individuals may not even get it

Place ideas together. A wiki provides the benefit of being used for putting various ideas together. Whether the ideas are long or short descriptions, a wiki enables users to easily write them down. Furthermore, any necessary editing can be done at a later time.

Education benefits. Wikis also have benefits in the education field. In the normal classroom, the teacher provides the learning material and the students interpret and absorb it. However, by using the wiki students are provided the chance of providing most of the learning materials

Disadvantages 

Anyone can edit so this may be too open for some applications, for example confidential documentation. However it is possible to regulate user access.

Open to SPAM and Vandalism if not managed properly. There are easy ways to restore a page however, and on WikiEducator you must be logged in to edit pages so this reduces vandalism by automated spam bots.

Requires Internet connectivity to collaborate, but technologies to produce print versions of articles are improving

Advantages

Better work output. There is no one to give you orders. You can do your work freely and as you like. You can easily concentrate on your work and write at any time of the day. You can do your work in an organized manner. Everything becomes so simple, either you are satisfied with your work or criticizing your work.

Become your own boss. Unlike any other job, if you are blogging, you don’t need to work from 9-5. You can work at any time of the day

Disadvantages

Discipline. Blogging requires discipline. Most of the bloggers don’t have a schedule while moving from day job to full time blogging

Can be hard to find content to talk about sometimes. Which can lead to less money or profit being made. 

Poorly written content can reflect badly on your brand. Put some thought into what you blog about and ensure your work has been edited and reviewed.
