Possible ship names: Spanglish (bc Emilio teaches Spanish and Derek teaches English), ghostletter (Derek is a ghost, at least temporarily, and Emilio had the plot point of Charley’s note), or anderoa (just their names squished together)

Headcanons:

- met in college

- Emilio fell first, Derek fell harder

- they have two pet cats!

- they carpool to work

- Emilio was *really* worried when Derek was possessed by Mr. Martin bc his demeanor was all off and he thought he did something to upset Derek

- ever since getting his body back, Derek has insisted on visiting the graves of the dead, and he likes to talk to Charley’s grave, just to let him know what’s going on in Emilio’s life. He knows Charley won’t be able to hear it, but it makes him feel better.

School Spirits headcanon you can pry from me is that the reason Quinn was so easily able to join in on Rhonda, Wally, and Charley’s dance was because it was originally made for four people, but Janet wasn’t there to do it with them anymore.
