Retirement Announcement
“I'm so proud to have been blessed with a talent where I've learned to imitate one of the best entertainers that's influenced so many, craft my own style, and pursue my own dreams. Since I've been 10 yrs old in elementary school, I've done my thing for a crowd of kids and never missed a step. From becoming a high school celebrity, to branching off into recording my musical debut, and to doing shows in clubs & venues. I will miss blessing the stage with the flavors of my character. For those who knew me from high school, I appreciate all the support you've shown whenever I'd put on a show. I can look back on my childhood dream and be fulfilled that I set out to do what I've always wanted. Now I look forward to discovering a new passion for the next chapter in my journey. Despite all the times the naysayers intentionally moved about as if I was invisible. Truth is they were so blinded by my glow that they had to find comfort through attempting to shield their eyes. Sadly they haven't realized that my light is as much theirs as it is my own. And so I've learned that I can be the witness to my own glory and still get to tell the story. No matter the platform, size of audience, or bright the spotlight, it's because of you I was able to conceptualize my vanity project through artistry and dance. For that I thank you. This concludes my legacy. Stay cool... because the world's a lot bigger than you & me." 7/6/19

From 1996, I had a childhood dream of putting together my 1st debut album entitled 'The Cool Experience'. I had no clue as to how it would come to fruition, but I believed in myself to start the process of creating the music. Luckily for me, I found my first home studio called Grand Illusion Sequences in DeLand, FL to begin the recording process. My first song that started it all was called 'coolness'. I recorded the album over a process of 9 years (1996, 97, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12, 16) and here it is...cool iXperience! The 1st photoshoot for the album was done at Fogleman Studios in 07. I had undergone much transformation with my look. Constant dyeing and whitening of my hair, the outfits, the props, the shades, the hat, the whole gambit. My wife adopted the name Lady Coolness to compliment my character and she did her photoshoot at Glamour Shots dressing in all white. The album cover was chosen with me carrying the microphone doing a James Brown pose and the rest is history. Fast forward to 2018 and we have retired. Me & Lady Coolness had this idea to revisit how it all started with a winter finale photoshoot. We'd pay homage and revisit our characters back then in an updated way. The final photoshoot for this was concluded at Dynasty Photos in 2018. We really went all out for this shoot from dieting, fasting, and exercising. I dyed my hair 4 times to get it to a blonde/white color with a haircut. New white outfits, wigs, gloves. My wife hired a makeup artist, shout out to Courtney Nicole. We were ready for the evening with our photographer, Zach Taylor whom we had worked with previously, to do our shoot. And here is the end result. Enjoy... (IG: cooliXperience) njcoolness.net
