Super Bowl 43 was the Steelers vs the Cardinals. The Steelers are no stranger to the Super Bowl. This was their eighth Super Bowl appearance, winning three. For the Cardinals this was only their first time at the Super Bowl. And the Cardinals weren't really expected to make the Super Bowl. After the Eagles upset the one seed, the Cardinals ended up beating the Eagles to make the Super Bowl. But the Steelers were definitely the favorites to win.
The Steelers came out right away and put the first points on the board with a field goal. The Cardinals had no response, then let up a touchdown, making the score 10-0. But the Cardinals ended up scoring a touchdown and now only being down 3 points. But the Steelers had other plans, scoring the last touchdown of the first half making the score 17-7 to end the half.
The second half started, and the Cardinals were playing great defense, but unfortunately for them, they weren't able to stop them from getting points. The steelers were able to get another field goal. the score stayed the same going into the fourth quarter, but the Cardinals still believed they could win the game. They came out and drove 87 yards down the field. And at the 1 yard line, a touchdown was thrown to Larry Fitzgerald. Despite only being down 20-14, the Cardinals truly believed they could win.
The Cardinals were then able to get a safety, now only being down by four point. Then it happened: the ball was thrown to Larry again, and he split two defenders and raced down the field for the go-ahead touchdown. The score was now 23-20, with the Cardinals finally taking the lead late in the game. The Steelers would end up scoring with only 35 seconds left, taking the lead, and they were able to stop them on defense. Winning Super Bowl XLIII. Giving the Steelers there 4th Super Bowl ring.
According to ESPN.com, big Ben had 256 passing yards with one touchdown to Santonio Holmes. And Kurt Warner had 377 passing yards with three touchdown, with two of them going to Larry Fitzgerald, who also had 127 receiving yards.
I don't remember watching this game because I was so young, but I always here about it because my entire family is Steelers fan, and my second favorite team is the Steeler, so this game will always be a favorite of mine because it brings joy to my entire family. Except for the two Eagles fans in my family.

Blog Entry: Book
Tumblr media
The book that I have is The First 50 Super Bowls. So, as you can tell, it's about football, and my blog is about the greatest NFL games in my opinion. Most of the games I pick are from the Super Bowl. So my blog and the book have a lot in common. To tell you about the book, I'm going to stick to one game from the book. The game I picked was the Purple Reign Super Bowl XXXV. The Super Bowl was the Ravens vs. the Giants. The Ravens were a very run-heavy team, so the Giants thought that if they could stop the run, they would stop the Ravens. The Ravens weren't known to pass much, but this game they planned to pass it 40 times. So, the game starts, both teams punt the ball a couple times, and then the Ravens put the first points on the board with a touchdown. Brandon Stokley would catch a 38-yard touchdown pass from Trent Dilfer. In the second quarter, the Ravens would only score a field goal. That would be the only points put up in the second quarter. giving the Ravens a 10-0 lead going into the half.
To start the second half, the Ravens would score again. with a 49-yard interception return from Duane Starks. That would put the Ravens up 17-0, making it tough for the Giants to come back. but with a 97-yard kickoff return from Ron Dixon. It would only put them back down by 10, and with a little hope, the comeback looks real. The kick return set a Super Bowl record for the longest kick return to be scored in the Super Bowl. But then the Giants would give up an 84-yard kickoff return immediately after, making the score 24-7 and making the game hard to come back from. Going into the fourth quarter, the Giants need to flip a switch and get things moving if they want to win. But it didn't start off well with the Ravens driving down the field, and then they scored a 3-yard rush, making the game look impossible to win. With the score at 31–7, the Giants are going to need a miracle to win. But there was no miracle; the Ravens would go on to score another field goal, making the score 34-7, solidifying the game for them and winning the Super Bowl. It's crazy to see a score like this in the Super Bowl, especially since the Giants looked like the favorites coming into this game.
My book has a couple pages for each Super Bowl. It goes over the first 50 Super Bowl wins very nicely, and it gives you a good description of them. It almost made me feel like I was playing the game. And I'm sure it does the same for all the other games. I really like how it gives you all the details about the games. It even tells you how they have done before the Super Bowl. I really like how they do that, and I think that's something that I can add to my blog. I think stuff like that can really help my blog and help me tell these stories better and with more detail. The book is really basic. It's something that you know what you're getting. It's definitely a book that I enjoyed and would get again. I really enjoyed writing about this book, and I might keep it to help me with other posts for my blog. Im excited to see how much this book can help me with my blog and how much better it can get.

library scavenger hunt post
My experience with the scavenger hunt went pretty well. The first thing I did was find a book. I couldn't find where a football book would be, so I just asked for help. He should tell me where they are, and I should find my book. My book is called The First 50 Super Bowls by Mike Curtis. I've skimmed through the book, and it looks very interesting. After that, I found an ebook online; it was a little hard to find at first, but I found it. The book is called Football; it's about the blood-lived experiences of undertaking recreational football for health in older adults. I think they should shorten the name. The authors are Sophie Mowle, Emma Eyre, Mark Noon, Jason Tallis, and Michael J. Duncan. I've never seen a book with so many authors.
The last thing I did was print my ILL request screen. I would honestly say that it was the easiest one to do. All in all, I thought that it was fun and not too hard. I liked that we got a little more understanding about the school library. This was a very good experience, and I think it was a good thing to do. I would definitely do this again if the opportunity presented itself again.

Profile a Person Post
Tumblr media
Peyton Manning is one of football's all-time greats. He played 18 seasons in the NFL. He spent 14 seasons with the Indianapolis Colts and four with the Denver Broncos. He won the Super Bowl with both teams. In his last year ever, he won the Super Bowl with Denver. Peyton Manning has won the most career MVP awards in the NFL, with 5. This is one of the reasons he is in the goat debate. After retiring from football, Peyton has taken a job as a sports broadcaster. He and his brother host the Manning Cast on Monday night football. The Manning Cast is a sports talk show where they talk about what's going on in the world of sports. He also has Peyton's places; it's a football-themed documentary series on ESPN+. He's a very fascinating person with football and his shows, and I'm glad to still be seeing him on TV.

Super Bowl 50 Denver vs Carolina
Tumblr media
This Super Bowl is a great one because it was Peyton Manning's last game that he would ever play. I would say this was a lackluster game, but it's still great because it was Peyton's last game. Carolina had the best record in the league with a 15-1 record, and they also had the MVP in Cam Newton. Both teams played amazing defense in the first quarter before the Broncos scored a touchdown. They were also able to drive down the field and score a field goal. And the Carolina Panthers were held to zero points. But in the second quarter, the Panthers were able to get their first points by scoring a touchdown. The Broncos were able to get in field goal range and make the kick. Making the score 13-7 at the end of the first half.
In the 3rd quarter, there weren't many points put up; only a field goal by the Broncos extended their lead to 16-7. But in the fourth, things looked good for Carolina, which came out and made a field goal. But after that, they could get it going again. And the Broncos would score with 3 minutes left and then stop Carolina and run the time out. Crushing the hearts of the Carolina Finals and running a historic season
cam According to bleacher report, Newton had 265 passing yards and Peyton had 141 passing yards. There were no passing touchdowns, which is bad, but there were still points put on the board. With a final score of 24-10, the Denver Broncos came out on top, and Peyton Manning went out on top, retiring on a Super Bowl ring. This is one of my favorite Super Bowl games, not because it was the best, but because Denver is my favorite team and Payton Manning is my favorite player. Im glad Peyton got to go out with another ring to add to his amazing career.
Going into this game, I was kind of scared for my Denver Broncos. The Carolina Panthers looked unstoppable in the regular season and in the playoffs, only losing one game coming into the Super Bowl. They really had something special that year with MVP Cam Newton and their stacked team, but just came up short.

Primary source post
Super Bowl LVII
Tumblr media
For my primary source, I'm going to do it myself at this year's Super Bowl because I witnessed it. This year's Super Bowl was a great one. It had actions and was full of excitement. It also had some controversy that most people believe changed the outcome of the games.
It was the Eagles vs. the Chiefs on the biggest stage of them all. There was a lot of scoring in this game. In the first quarter, both teams put up 7 points. Then in the second quarter, the chief put up another 7 points. But the Eagles put up 17 points of their own.
The score was 24-14 at the half in favor of the Eagles. But Mohomes came out in the second half and played lights out, refusing to let his team loose. And the game was tied at 35-35 with a few seconds left. Mohomes takes off and runs down the field, out of bounce, but gets hit late and puts the Chiefs in better field goal range. Most people think it changed the outcome of the game. but I don't think it really changed much because I still think the kicker would have made the field goal anyway.
But the game ended, and the final score was 38-35, with the Chiefs winning the Super Bowl. Patrick Mohomes was named the Super Bowl MVP with an amazing performance; according to sports news, he had 183 yards and 3 touchdowns with a passing rating of 131.8%.
One of those touchdowns went to Travis Kelce, who's one of the best tight ends in the league. People were calling this the Kelce Bowl because not only was Travis in this game but so was his older brother Jason Kelce. Both teams played their hearts out, but there's only one team that can win, and on that day, it was the Chiefs.
This is just one of many great games that I will be going over in this blog in due time.

player safety is a big things. You never wanna see someone get hurt. it interesting to me because an injury can effect a game in some many ways and change the out come of the entire game. An injury is just the worst thing to see and can ruin an entire game. I really wanna see the nfl improve the safety of the players and making sure if a people gets a career ending injury that they take care of them. they should also hire better medical staffs to really ensure a play is about to play or come back.
Introduction
Injuries and player safety has been at the forefront of NFL news for the past few years. And as stated by Wire Feed, "Not enough is understood about the long-term relationship between brain health, concussion history and sports." Knowing this has resulted in a rise of athletic health research, leading to new technology and rules to better protect the players throughout the game. In my blog I hope to cover most aspects of player safety, including both injuries and rules. Also, I would like to dedicate time to exploring the criticism that the NFL has faced over some safety controversies. In its long running history, the league has always been involved in some sort of drama relating to the health of players.

Now, discovering all of the efforts that the NFL goes to to keep players safe is going to be an informative, but not everyone has a big interest in it. Therefore, this blog will focus on how the posts are being perceived, so that I can create an engaged audience that may not realize that they find athlete's safety interesting. Not only do I want this blog to be engaging, but I also want it to be one of the most informative of its kind. There may not be many NFL safety blogs, but I still want to make sure that my posts are more detailed than others like it.
Tumblr media

To find this informative, I will try to use the most reputable and accurate sources possible. In conclusion, this page will serve as a trustworthy site that you can go to whenever you want to learn about NFL safety. Whether you are a veteran sports fan, or don't know a single rule of football, there will be something interesting for everyone.

Super Bowl 51: New England Patriots vs. Atlanta Falcons On February 5, Tom Brady led the greatest comeback ever. By halftime, the score was 28-3 in favor of the falcons. Everyone thought that Tom Brady had lost and was going to get blown out. Some people even left the Super Bowl because they thought the Falcons would surely win. But goats don't go down without a fight. Tom Brady and the Patriots led a comeback and took the game into overtime. with the score being 28–28. The Patriots won the coin toss and chose to reserve the ball. The Patriots drove the ball to the red zone and ended up scoring and winning the greatest Super Bowl comeback ever.
The final score was 34-28, and Tom Brady received his fifth Super Bowl ring. According to Gale Biography Online Collection, Brady "had 466 passing yards and a Super Bowl record". Tom also had two passing touchdowns, and James White scored three touchdowns of his own. From the Patriots website, I found that "Bill Belichick won his fifth Super Bowl in 2016 to give him the most Super Bowl wins by any head coach in NFL history". The Patriots were a dynasty and the greatest team ever, and they were led by the best player ever, Tom Brady. All in all, this is one of the greatest football games of all time. This game will forever be some people's favorite game of all time. There are many more great games just like this one, and I will be going over them with time.
