Remained friends. Mel probably got another fellowship etc somewhere else and they meet again and becca is more or less independent and thriving in the facility and mel is now available for things and shiz and a gesture of love

Watching Season 2 of The Rookie and

I'm on the episode where Nolan finds out what is in his son's fiancee's background check. So I don't love that it wasn't done legally but I have zero issue with running background checks on people. I will not go out with a guy until I've researched him. And I don't have a problem with someone running a background check on me.

I'm kind of upset that it's such a big plot point and it was seen as a negative and Nolan was essentially shamed for not trusting his son. Yeah, we got the full story and it was sad, but I don't think Nolan was unreasonable to be interested in her past. Let's normalize being safe. On more than one occasion I was going to go out for drinks with a guy, but after research found they had a history of DV. Without that knowledge, I could've gotten caught up in something bad. I've also found out that some of my friends' dates were actually married. Relevant info to have.

Don't want to be all negative - I enjoy this show a lot, but for women out there - please research your potential intimate partners. There are many ways to do so legally and sometimes even free if your state allows you to do a court docket search online.

Random Thoughts on The Pitt

I love this show. This and Severance make my week.

This is essentially ER 2025.

Santos seems to be super hated, but I don't hate her at all. I'm actively rooting for her. Is she perfect? No, but she has the most potential for growth.

I'd probably say my least fave character is Mohan. It's not just that she's slow. It's that she sanctimonious.

McKay is probably the doctor that I'd actually want to have if I visited the ER.

I love Mel. She's probably my very fave because she's like pure at heart and what not. Good vibes and motives all around.

Langdon is my personal thirst trap. I don't care he has a drug problem. I just want to see his pretty face each week.

Mateo is also a cutie.

Admin lady was more help than hindrance this week so her stock rose, but healthcare in general needs to get its act together. I think that's what her character symbolizes - all the corporate roadblocks medical staff face.

I'm intrigued by night shift. Mr. (Sorry) Dr. Coffee Slurper acting all apathetic but knew all the answers to Robby's questions.

Nothing more frustrating than trying to contact someone in a busy area and getting that stupid couldn't send message. I felt Dr. Robby on that.

These episodes go by so fast.
