I started really looking and even when he speaks no one has acknowledged his words NOR has Rook responded / brought it up to others!

When they mention feeling bad they didn’t catch it sooner - how could they have as Rook doesn’t say “Varric’s right, XYZ” and it clearly shows that Rook hears Varric but he doesn’t include him in on their meetings as “hey, say your peace my man” and instead goes “Y’know Varric would/said …” and everyone takes it as a past-tense thing.

Fuck. My second play through and NO ONE LOOKS AT VARRIC when he speaks. 😭🥺😫

Not a single companion goes near that room or in it to talk to him.

The Inquisitor and Rook after hearing a dragon roar in the distance:

The best/worst part is when Rook commits to the bit and later does something almost exactly the same in a different section - and you just have to accept defeat when the dragon is 20+ lvls higher.

Sometimes you go to three different locations to kill parts of the same demon three different times and then go back to take care of its final form, only to see a dragon 10 levels higher than you swoop down, yelling something about how it tried to warn you, but you just kept fucking with it, and Emmrich is yelling that it's possessed a High Dragon, and you can feel Lucanis glaring daggers at your Rook while your Rook stares into the middle distance, wondering how her life led her here, the words, "For gold and glory," bouncing around her subconscious like the DVD logo across a TV screen.

Lol, just saw a spoiler that made me cackle. One thing about Dragon Age lore that always kinda annoyed me is the way the elven religion (and other religions tbh) is dismissed and dismantled while Andrastianism is held up as the one true religion... oh how the tables turn asdfghjkl
