i'm currently working on a broader, more detailed breakdown of my characterization of link following totk, but i do have a teensy weensy itty bitty little canon divergence that i wanna throw out there ahead of time. spoilers inbound. yadda yadda. read more at own risk.

okay so my link did NOT get his arm back at the end of the game. instead, without rauru's spirit there to essentially keep the limb alive, it fully succumbed to its scarring and had to be amputated just below the shoulder. he does eventually get a prosthesis manufactured by zelda, purah, and co, but that takes quite some time. time which link takes to become re-proficient in his natural left-handedness, thus leading him to become an ambidextrous swordsman akin to westley and inigo montoyo princess bride following his acclimation to his prosthesis.

this all said, please assume link just doesn't have a right arm during any threads set shortly after totk's end. thanks !!
