New spalted maple sculpture. Its been sanded to about 100 grit so I've got a ways to go but I am enjoying it a lot so far. I am trying to decide whether I want it as a hanging wall sculpture or a stand up sculpture. Its all done. Spalted maple from Levan Utah and walnut from Manti Utah. Both woods were from trees that were salvaged and milled at Snow College. I love giving old wood new life and beauty. Now we just need a new and longer couch to match it.
