And so I enter into evidence my tarnished coat of arms. My muses, acquired like bruises. My talismans and charms. The tick, tick, tick of love bombs. My veins of pitch black ink. All’s fair in love and poetry.
At this point, anyone who says Taylor is playing the victim is just regurgitating 2012 haterism without listening to and/or comprehending her music. She could easily sanatize her work and discuss only the parts that make her look good, but she doesn't, she tells the whole story with every unfavorable or damaging detail. But Daddy I Love Him could have been something she kept to herself because she knows what happened after, but she doesn't even if publishing it will maybe make her look bad.
It wasn't sexy once it wasn't forbidden is for them both realizing they were a better idea on paper than when put on practice. In guilty as sin she thinks about having the most amazing sex ever just to see in reality that she did a better job on herself then he did on her.

on a heavier note re: the manuscript I’m thinking about “he said since she was so wise beyond her years everything had been above board” vs “you said if we had been closer in age maybe it would’ve been fine” 🙂
