Missing you around D:
//aaah yeah I did promise I'll slowly return, but getting used to working full time with all the work events and all that I barely have time for my hobbies I'm glad if I catch an hour to myself before inevitably falling asleep, but hopefully I could get around to do replies. Who would've thought that adult life is so busy TT

Cornel’s mood plummeted the moment he had heard the dejected voice of his lover. He had heard him like this only few times during their relationship and not once did he like it. It made him all the more glad that he had decided to take the few days off to come and join him in this rural area. Besides it would do them both a little good to be out of the city for a while.
What he didn’t expect was the taller boy throwing himself at Cor. Grunting as he caught him, he had to stagger against the nearest pillar when he felt his knee buckle. “Kitten.” he breathed trying to set him down gently, ruffling his hair as he regarded him. “Doing a good job at ruining my things, starting with the mental state in the morning, now my knee...what’s going to be next, hm?” he teased, leaning against the pillar for support. Even though his tone was playful it was clear that the dom was glad he was here, that he saw Enoch, no matter how short the time apart had been.
“What do you think, I came to punish you for the stunt you pulled.” he grinned making his limping way over to his bag and sighing as he leaned down to pick it up. However he was stopped midway by the other just pulling him in for a kiss which had the dom hum and raise his eyebrow at him. “Pet..you are testing my patience right now.” he warned against the other’s lips before he pushed himself back. “Let’s get you inside and ...not eating icecream.” Cornel shook his head. Knowing his sub the boy had eaten only the cold delicacy he felt from the other’s lips and mouth.
“We both know you can’ eat too much sugar, or you’ll be hyper and god knows I can’t handle you hyper with my jacked up knee.” he grumbled to himself, finally stepping inside the house and looking around.
@cornelthecursed (don't even ask me what this is, I just... Felt like it I guess?)
After the phonecall Enoch had received at the beginning of the week he couldn't possibly focus on anything. He had cut off all ties and burned all bridges from his hometown and his family he never talked to anyone from his family, never even sent or received a Christmas card from them. So when his mother's sister, his aunt, called Enoch to tell him that his mother was at the hospital... He felt the earth vanishing fron underneath his feet. His mother... Was in the hospital.
That day, Enoch woke up very early, in an hour he was barely ever awake, but this night... He barely slept. He felt like he had just closed his eyes but didn't rest, not in one bit. So while it was still dark outside, Enoch slowly slipped off the bed to get dressed.
He looked over to Cornelius, he didn't want to awake him this early, but he silently walked closer to his side of the bed and caressed with his thumb his forehead and leaned in to kiss his head. "I love you..." he whispered and left a small note on his nightstand. He picked up his backpack, placing it over his shoulder and lifted his luggage. He silently closed the door of the master's bedroom and walked down the stairs where a taxi was waiting for him outside.
On the note he had handwritten a few simple words of love to Cornelius. 'I couldn't find it in me to wake you up. We'll talk on the phone, you can call me whenever you have time. I adore you. - yours, Kitten.'

Cornel let out a shuddering breath, a cold shiver running down his spine as he was held. Locke’s voice brought him comfort alright, but the questions that followed definitely did not. Swallowing thickly he took one more breath before he spoke. “You know how I never...I didn’t really have a serious relationship after early in my life because...” falling silent he just tried to get the jumble of thoughts and memories in order.
“I had a wife and a kid...” he admitted. “The most beautiful princess under the sun.” a sad smile made his way to his lips as he recalled the memories. “She loved making wreaths of the wild flowers and made me wear them.....well..It all ended, hunters found them when I was not home.. gave them deaths worth a vampire who wasn’t behaving.” licking his lips, he shrugged. “I just...I don’t want to get home to the same image with someone I...love.” he admitted after all, the word so quiet that it could be mistaken for him breathing out, but he did admit it out loud. “I care about you Locke, I’m just scared, okay?”
@cornelthecursed
Locke had been on a self-destruct path. Things with Cornel had been good. They had been enjoying each others company, spending time together. For Locke, as much as that should be good, it was making him antsy and reckless. He never had anything this good. His life was a series of bad relationships and being alone. Now that Cornel was around, Locke was just waiting for everything to blow up in his face.
He had been working a lot, finding the most complicated and difficult jobs possible. He had been increasingly reckless and would come home beat up, bruised, crashing from the adrenaline high, and would promptly have a few drinks, sometimes more than a few. Locke knew that Cornel had noticed the change in him, but he didn’t know what to say or do. He sat drinking a glass of whiskey, he hadn’t expected for Cornel to come into the room.
“Hey handsome.” He murmured.

Cornel wasn’t entirely sure whether it was him or Enoch that made them so distant, but one thing was for sure. He was scared of any further step in their relationship since the last time he let himself be happy and have a family with a human it ended badly. He reckoned that the the fact he was alive was the fact they underestimated his power back then. No matter how much he adored the taller tatted man, he couldn’t bring himself to just pursue those feelings for him. He didn’t want to be responsible for anything that might happen to him. Not again.
To keep his mind occupied the vampire returned to reading once again, however the classics he owned, no matter how much he adored them, had bored him and he wasn’t that opposed to search for a new release to keep him entertained for the day. What he didn’t expect was running into the man himself at the front door. He knew that the other had seen him since their eyes had met and it made Cornel cringe on the inside. He wasn’t even sure where to pick up the conversation - he had cussed him out after he had confessed his feelings didn’t he?
Not having any messages from him, he figured that the man decided to ditch him after his cold shoulder. However awkward it was, it would have been even more so if he didn’t say hi when they clearly acknowledged each other. “Hello.” he said softly, running a hand through hair, eyes glancing away from him to the books in his hand and then the name tag. “You...you work here? How come I’ve never seen you around?” there ...this should be a safe conversation right?
[MEME: SOFTER PROMPS]
“ i think i might be in love with you.”
(From Enoch to Cornelius ofc, maybe we could take things a little from the start? Idk, it's up to you! ❤️)

Leoric looked from one man to the other, mouth slightly agape as Cor’s cheeks heated up with the remark from Hades. Indeed there was a finesse needed - after all their relationship was, well a little unconventional. Even Cornel didn’t know he liked half of the stuff the two of them did, but here he was, willingly submitting to the taller man. Not that it would have been different, when it came to the same sex relationship. He wasn’t handy enough and would gladly give the reigns to someone else, but the other things, oh..with heightened senses as his it was a whole new experience.
Still Leoric seemed to picked up on the undertone of that sentence, no matter how innocent it sounded. “You sly dog, C.” he grinned at his friend giving his back a slap that had the vampire in question wince. He might have heal fast but that didn’t mean that the remnants from their fun weren’t still there. The notion alone had the viking smirk. “Should have known you would be into that kinky shit.” he mused eyes sparkling. “If I had I would have shown you.” he winked before turning to Hades with a shake of his head.
“Corny should have a bottle of vodka somewhere just for me.” he glanced at the silent vampire whose face was almost beet red. Although he did nod when Leoric mentioned the stronger alcohol.
“Yes...it’s...it’s on the shelf, s...um..” he sighed shaking his head. Hades’ presence behind his back was like a switch had flipped in his mind and he was struggling to keep up face in front of his closest friend. Granted he knew that Leo dabbled into anything and everything and he wasn’t surprised with how old he was, but there was something to showing him this side of himself.
“it’s alright Corny.” the viking mused. “You can call me Sir too.” that had the shorter of the two glare and hit him over the head grumbling about what a tease he was .
“As if I’d ever submit to you, you oaf.”
“Mmmm you did...couple of times if I remember correctly.” the viking was enjoying it way too much.
“That..that was different, Leo.” he pleaded. “please..you are here to meet Hades, not discuss what we do behind closed doors, yes?”
“Alright, alright, I know how private you get...you and your..venetian upbringing.” he rolled his eyes turning in his seat to look at Hades. “A shot of vodka, if I could.. “ turning back to Cor. “You have any ale left from my last visit? That thing was delicious.”
“Unfortunately no, you drank it all.” he sighed, turning to look at Hades. “Please come sit down and enjoy the meal.. I’ve prepared it as much for you as I did for him.” he pleaded, hoping that the two could keep themselves entertained without him having to embarrass himself further.
@cornelthecursed
Cornel was not blind to knowing that Hades was a higher being. His blood smelled like nothing he had come across and even if he had a haunch that the name had some meaning to it, he didn’t ask. Always being respectful of the later-turned-out God. And he knew how much he liked things of higher quality. Despite his skills in the kitchen he never put himself up on a pedestal, no matter how many times others told him to. Yes he had decades upon decades to master the art of cooking, but it was something he enjoyed and not something he wanted to brag about.
So he didn’t find it strange in the slightest when the other took snippets of food whenever he was cooking for the two of them, until today. “Yes, guests.” he sighed rearranging the vegetables he had went through painstakingly cutting into shapes. The vampire didn’t even remember how he managed to lure the god of the Underworld to his side, but the fact stayed the two enjoyed each other’s company. Be it the liking to things classy or their personalities being almost the same, he didn’t know. Yet, he didn’t even second guess it.
“I thought you’d remember.” he pouted a little. It was not always that he introduced people to Leoric. Granted the Viking decided to use his visit by dropping his children off for the weekend, but he knew as well that it must be someone important to the younger vampire. Why would he introduce them together then? To a friend that was with him for majority of his life? Sighing and sliding the dish cloth down from his shoulder he eyed the taller man. “Leo is coming over, remember? Dropping his kids most likely, knowing him.” despite him wanting to hide the disappointed tone, he simply couldn’t. Not that he blamed the other, he had many responsibilities after all, but he wished he didn’t have to remind him. That he actually remembered, since it wasn’t something the vampire took lightly. Glancing around the plates full of snacks ranging from veggies to fruits and even a little with sweets. Just an appetizer the main course was still in the oven.
Hades generally had a good memory but it could be selective at times and while he did have times where he meant it - this wasn’t one of those times. The pout on the others lips clearly said it all but the tone let him know exactly how the other was feeling. Hades rarely felt bad for his actions, he thought things through and was calculated but he wasn’t perfect. People often thought gods couldn’t do any wrong but Hades knew first hand that was a lie. He, himself, had countless corrupted decisions under his belt and he made those decisions for years. Cornel was someone he genuinely enjoyed being around and he should have remembered this date if anything just for the person it belonged to. Knowing it was important to the other he did apologize, another rarity for Hades, “My apologies… A lot on my mind.“ Which wasn’t a lie but wasn’t really the reason. Simply forgetting wasn’t going to be his admission though.
A hand over the small of Cornel’s back as Hades moved around him to give the other more space to fix and adjust and plate whatever he needed. “Leo, yes.. Is he aware who I am?” Hades was never really introduced to others friends and families and while he wasn’t one to really hide who he was - he certainly wouldn’t make a meeting awkward if Leo had no idea who his life long friend was intertwined with. Hades name was tainted, in the past, for good reason. He was more cruel and blood thirsty if he were honest. It didn’t mean he was more forgiving now, just more strategic but he knew that assumptions were generally made in one way or another when anyone met him - despite what the new lore might be told. “Kids…? Are they like you?” While he does remember the mention of Leo, he can’t remember the mention of kids. Most kids had that sense to them, depending on the age, Hades would either intrigue or scare them out right. More often than not it was a curious reaction but if they were more along the vampire route - well, he wasn’t really sure how that would go. Magical kids were unpredictable. “And how long are they going to be staying with you?” Because, while Hades could get Cornel into the underworld with ease, he would not risk having children that didn’t belong in such a place.

Despite being almost the same height the viking shivered as soon as he felt that piercing gaze on him. He might have fought the Romans, been in multitude of wars but this man...this god was something else, he felt as if his soul was scrutinized and he subconsciously moved closer to Cornel only to have his short friend disappear off to his kitchen. Leoric wasn’t all too bad, after all he had helped straighten Cor’s act after the disaster in Venice, but it didn’t mean that he hadn’t committed any sins. Swallowing thickly he gripped the other’s offered hand in tight hold of his own. He didn’t have to worry about his vampiric strength after all - so what humans might consider too firm of a handshake could have passed as regular between the supernaturals.
“I did hear a lot about you too.” The blonde admitted, a soft chuckle escaping him making his beard shake as well. “Pleasure is all mine. To be honest I was quite eager to meet you, I haven’t seen Cornel this happy...ever.” he admitted glancing at the dark haired man, hoping that the other was occupied as not to hear him.
At the mention of the feast Leoric’s mood lifted back to his usual jovial self. Even if he didn’t need to eat food he always enjoyed Cor’s creations. Shifting about the livingroom he knew as his own the viking sat on the couch grinning up at the two. “His food is phenomenal, I don’t think that would be all too bad.” he mused.
While that was going down Cor was trying to calm himself down. He wouldn’t lie but the two of them meeting was a huge deal. Still the comment about being happy went right over his head, the feeling of Hades’ hand on his low back still present as he grumbled when he spotted another missing piece from one of the platters. If Leoric wasn’t around he would have cussed the god out. Holding two of the trays that he had prepared he placed them on the coffee table giving a small harsh glare towards the dark man to let him know he knew.
“I thought we would have a full house so I ...prepared a little too much.” he admitted shivering in delight when he felt the taller man’s presence behind him. “But....” knowing that not listening was not an option he mumbled a quiet yes, sir before he plopped down on the couch near Leo who was gawking at the two. Glancing from one to the other in silent shock.
“Yo, H,” he paled, realizing he had just given the god of the Underworld, a nickname. Clearing his throat. “’mean Hades...you’ll have to teach me your tricks. Cornel..listening to someone is a ..well i can count on my fingers how often it happened.”
“Oh shove it Leo.” Cornel grumbled reaching over to grab a cheese stick, trying to avoid either of their gazes. “Can you get me whisky, I have a feeling I might need it with him here.”

Cornel was about to go and fetch a chair from one of the sitting rooms - sure it would have been more fancy but that didn’t matter to him. All he wanted to do was have all of the hungry residents of the castle to get to their meals. Starting to stand up he was pressed into the seat with the omega’s weight on his thighs. Frowning and looking down he settled in his chair once again, arms wrapping around the other’s form.
It was confusing, he won’t lie, but feeling him in his lap, his scent mixing with his own, it just...felt right. Don’t take him wrong Cornel was far from being a virgin, but this, it felt like something you read in books about. Leaning back and letting his hand rest across the other’s thighs he settled him against his chest, feeling the warmth of the other’s cheeks.
Humming he let his fingers brush against his legs as he thought about Robin’s question. “Alright, I can have that arranged.” he nodded softly as if agreeing with himself before meeting his eyes with a smile. If that was what brought happiness to the omega, spending quality time with him, then so be it. Even if it meant his otter matters would have to wait. Tightening his hold on him and pressing him closer he chuckled. “Well... you already did most of what I do when I have the time..I adore the gardens, and reading is my favourite evening activity.” he mused just drinking in his features that he was so close. “I could give you a tour of the castle if your brothers would allow?” the last question a tad louder so it reached the other end of the table as well.
Even if he wanted to do nothing else but claim and own the man in his lap, he still respected the other’s family and himself. “Unless you would rather do something else, pretty little omega.” he growled lowly pressing his lips to his temple. Not going to lie having him plopped in his lap made thinking harder than it should be.
(It won't leave my head) There hadn't been an omega born in the Royal family for over a hundred years. Every Royal in the kingdom had been an alpha or a beta. That was until Robin came along. The first omega prince. It meant unlike his brothers, he was raised differently. The plans for him were always going to be different. But Robin didn't mind. He was happy and he was loved by his family. There was no reason for him to think otherwise. As he grew older, his brother all were mated for the sake of the kingdom. Their omegas moving to their kingdom so Robin knew that by the time it was his turn, he would have to move to his prospective mates kingdom. It was merely a matter of when and who the only omega prince would be sent to.
When Robin's kingdom began talks of an alliance with another kingdom, he knew that one of the options would be for Robin to be a gift. He was actually exicited about the prospect. Everytime his brother and father went to talks with the kingdom, Robin would ask for every detail about the king. About whether he would be sent there. The talks began drawing an end, the alliance was agreed and Robin was finally allowed to attend.
All of his brothers went this time and his father stayed to run the kingdom. Robin, with two of his brothers were ushered into a library while Felix and Cain finished the talks with the king. Robin was gladly keeping himself entertained as he looked at all the different book, even reading some of them. Whereas Seth and Xander chatted between themselves.
Felix and Cain gladly finished the alliance with Cornel. Signing the various documents and finalising all the terms of the alliance. When it was all finished, Felix was the one to bring up a final item. "Now it is customary for our kingdom to provide a gift to those we make alliances with. We thought long and hard about what would be most suitable for yourself, your highness." Felix began saying as they started walking to the library. "We understand how your kingdom views omegas and understand that you are without one. So we would like you to meet our brother, Robin." Felix smiled as he opened the door to reveal where Robin was examining a shelf of books. "He's an omega and without an alpha. And our kingdom's gift to you."

Seeing that the flowers were gone by the time he returned to the kitchen he gave the boy a small smile as he prepared their breakfast, giving him the task of decorating his own yogurt with the fresh fruits. Letting him choose whatever fruits he wanted to have from the pile in his fridge and on the counter. Going around he did prepare breakfast for himself that was a little on the saltier side with a piece of bread and cheese and olives, sneaking in bites between readying Robin’s.
“Are you trying to barter with me, pet?” he teased looking up at him with his own twinkle in his eyes. His gaze snatching on the pink collar that was proudly displayed on the other’s throat, still not believing that this boy, right in front of him was his. That the other wanted to be with him. The smile falling from his lips for the briefest of moments. He had seen his eyes...but he had yet to see his scars. Swallowing thickly he pushed the bowl of yogurt and oats towards Robin with a small spoon so he could eat.
“Extra kisses, though? is that the currency that you get paid with at the shop too? Not sure I like the thought of that.” He hummed taking another bite, adding some vegetables as well to help it down the throat. “Do you want some tea with that?” he offered already filling up the kettle with water for himself. The vampire tried his hardest to keep the dark thoughts at bay. The boy chose him...he wanted to be with him so there was no point in overthinking this right? He wouldn’t bail on him as soon as he saw how scarred he was, would he?
(Sorry couldn't resist. Feel free to ignore) Robin had been spending more and more time round Cornel's. In fact he practically lived there and was rarely at his home now. Most of the time Robin kept to himself or did as he was told. But that day, he'd wanted to suprise Cornel. The idea had been there for a while and he simply couldn't shake it. Besides he was feeling particularly seasonal so who was he to ignore that feeling. So Robin began to bake in the kitchen. Of course there was a lot of rummaging around as he failed to find everything. But eventually he had all the ingredients he wanted and began making the gingerbread. a simple idea of a house and version's of them. The flour got dropped, the icing made a mess and there was sprinkles everywhere by the time he was done. Plus there was all the washing up still to do. But he was proud of his creations, unaware of the mess on himself, particularly the flour on his nose. When he heard the door open, he was still adding some finishing touches but still his smile got bigger. "Sir!" He called out. "I made you something." He said proudly.
@magical-boy-toys
Cornel had no idea what compelled him to allow Robin to stay at his home. Granted, before he had met the boy and actually started their little arrangement, the house never felt like a home. Not until that little thing weaseled his way into his heart somehow and actually decorated the house a tad more. The throw pillows were a nice addition he won’t lie there and even if there was no need for any thing other he found his house swarmed with little things that reminded him of Robin. Besides his presence that is. That boy was more at his place than in his flat above his shop.
And he had expected him to be in the said shop when he returned after the last mission he was sent out on. Seriously, one would think that mob boss high as this would know what to say to whom before the information got to the wrong people, but alas, at least he paid well. Cor was beyond tired and all he wanted to do was just spend a nice few hours in his tub and then perhaps tend to his garden but what he came home to was a thing he hadn’t expected.
His lovely kitchen, that he kept so meticulously clean and didn’t allow anyone in, really - not even his best friend, looked as if a bomb went off in it. Eggshells lining the counter in the heaps of flower that made the dark marble look more white than its original color. Was that cinnamon in there too? And…oh lord don’t tell me that the stuff on the cabinets’ doors is honey. “Pet.” he breathed just standing in the doorway, bag still slung over his shoulder and staring at the kitchen with raising disbelief. His eyes wide mouth slightly agape before he zeroed in on the man of question. “What did you do to my kitchen?”

“You better do, kitten, because you are in a big trouble.” he chided the other a little more with a playful undertone to the whole thing. He wouldn’t be too severe in punishing him after all, he adored the boy way too much to hurt him all too badly. “I love you too, kitten. Remember to stay safe.” he reminded him as he sat up on the bed again. Hearing the call end he sighed going about his morning routine, hitting the gym, but the thoughts of Enoch some place alone, where he didn’t feel quite comfortable in had him on edge. It wasn’t long before he had called up Leo to ask for information of Enoch’s whereabouts.
Hours later the ex-mob boss was sitting in his car, overnight bag at the back as he drove out of the town they lived in and in the direction where Enoch was at the current moment. Maybe he didn’t have his parents, but Cornel wouldn’t let Enoch go through this alone. Not to mention he needed to punish him for that stunt of scaring him. That was the main reason of course - the punishment. Not the fact that he cared about him.
Still sooner than later he had pulled up in front of the old house. Getting out of the car he regarded it before he took the bag and walked up to the front door, knocking. Knowing Enoch he would be surprised all too much at his appearance. He guessed at a tight hug and being swarmed with kisses.
@cornelthecursed (don’t even ask me what this is, I just… Felt like it I guess?)
After the phonecall Enoch had received at the beginning of the week he couldn’t possibly focus on anything. He had cut off all ties and burned all bridges from his hometown and his family he never talked to anyone from his family, never even sent or received a Christmas card from them. So when his mother’s sister, his aunt, called Enoch to tell him that his mother was at the hospital… He felt the earth vanishing fron underneath his feet. His mother… Was in the hospital.
That day, Enoch woke up very early, in an hour he was barely ever awake, but this night… He barely slept. He felt like he had just closed his eyes but didn’t rest, not in one bit. So while it was still dark outside, Enoch slowly slipped off the bed to get dressed.
He looked over to Cornelius, he didn’t want to awake him this early, but he silently walked closer to his side of the bed and caressed with his thumb his forehead and leaned in to kiss his head. “I love you…” he whispered and left a small note on his nightstand. He picked up his backpack, placing it over his shoulder and lifted his luggage. He silently closed the door of the master’s bedroom and walked down the stairs where a taxi was waiting for him outside.
On the note he had handwritten a few simple words of love to Cornelius. ‘I couldn’t find it in me to wake you up. We’ll talk on the phone, you can call me whenever you have time. I adore you. - yours, Kitten.’

Cornel was still in the kitchen when he heard Enoch call out to him that the water was still warm. “Alright Kitten, just don’t stay in there too long!” he called back thought he frowned when he replayed the interaction back. He had not rushed him, told him that he could join him whenever so why was he calling out to him that he was still in the tub? Not liking the sound of that he turned the stove off, putting the pot on the next burner that was off.
Drying his hands he started walking towards the bathroom where he had left Enoch when he heard that that scared voice. What in the heavens was going on in there? Reaching for his gun he clicked the safety off, holding it down as he approached the closed door. He didn’t hear anyone enter and he doubted people knew where he was, unless they followed them. Was he loosing his touch near Enoch? He had heard him call by his name this time and it’s when Cornel lost it. Pushing the door open he stepped into the bedroom looking around.
Not seeing anyone he made a quick way over to the bathroom. “kitten?” he asked, gun still aiming at the ground but ready to be lifted and fired at any sign of an intruder. Seeing the tears in his eyes hand him move to the tub quicker, wrapping his arms around him and tugging him into his chest as much as he could not caring about getting wet. “heeei...hei, what’s wrong, Enoch?” his voice soothing. “Should we cancel Leo’s? Want to stay inside instead? Talk to me, darling.”
