DID is so fun because I don't know if my thoughts and feelings are mine or someone else's or are a mix of mine and someone else's or are because of trauma and have no real reason or someone else is fronting entirely and we don't realize and it's their thoughts and feelings that I'm assuming are mine and I have no idea what I think or feel about anything because I don't know how to tell my actual thoughts and feelings

We brought up dissociation, identity confusion, amnesia, etc. Apparently he wrote it down in our symptoms, but because he didn't notice any dissociation/switches during the TWENTY MINUTE VIDEO CHATS that we have every couple months, he's essentially brushed it off because he doesn't see the symptoms. 🤡

i am 100 percent reading too far into what basically qualifies as a running gag but man. the fact that eggman's been able to trick knuckles over and over again and knuckles keeps wanting to believe him. and the context that eggman was the first person knuckles ever really knew, the first person he got to have an actual conversation with that wasn't just the master emeralds company. i just think it makes sense that even though he knows eggman to be a liar, he still keeps hoping in the back of his mind that the first person he ever got to know, the first person who treated him as an equal and not a guardian or a charge, might be worth trusting. but eggmans never going to live up to that hope. his first connection to the rest of the world was a bad person with bad intentions and that stings to know, but knuckles wants to see the best in people even when they dont have the kind of significance eggman does to him. he's not stupid, it's just a hard pill to swallow.
