Aquarius Sun and Moon Combinations
Planets represent different energetic principals in the life of an individual – the signs show what filter these energies express through.
Having an inner planet (or luminary) in the sign of Aquarius gives the personality independent, idealistic and original qualities. No matter what other placements the person has, the love of freedom and intellectual autonomy is going to come through.
To simplify;
The Sun represents the goal of individuation, self-expression and conscious self-actualization.
The Moon represents instinct, temperament, emotional nature and personal needs.
Aquarius Sun – Aries Moon
This person is bound to be very independent, at least in spirit if not in a material sense. There’s not much that can tie this person down. The conscious self is immersed in the realm of ideas rather than the “facts” of physical existence and the temperament is high strung and fiery. This combo can be a precursor for loneliness, not because the person can’t get along with people but because the person is egalitarian, impartial and understanding to the point of loosing subjective responses. At the same time, the emotional nature is volatile, quick to react and prone to agitation. Ellen DeGeneres has this combo and she’s known for wanting to contribute to the well-being of the human collective (as is typical of Aquarius), but she’s also known for being blunt and even rude. She has the soul of a child as well as a self-expression of mature idealism. The Aries Moon type is a bit of a dichotomy because at the core, these people are pure and innocent as newborns. However, they also have the arrogance and energy of little beasts. They always mean well, but they need a good fight once in a while to let off some steam. Although the signs of Aquarius and Aries work well together, the self-image of the Aquarius Sun might be slightly dented by the Aries Moon’s lack of tact and sensitivity to other people’s emotions. Personal relationships might not be as romantic as they are friendly. Although there’s always a certain passion inherent in the Aries Moon temperament, it is more heroic than romantic. This is the type that pursues, not the type that waits to be noticed and swept off his/her feet. The person would go for what is wanted without hesitation, partly because the idea of individual freedom is very appealing to the Aquarian personality, partly because there’s a hunger for conquest inherent in the Aries temperament. No matter the gender of the person, this combo makes for a predominant masculine profile. Both Aquarius and Aries are masculine signs. Needless to say, having this combo doesn’t make a person more of a “man”, it simply means that energy and intellect are marked qualities in the individual. More emotional and earthy personalities might find it difficult to relate to this combo, as it is so visionary and progressive. Reality in the concrete sense is not very exciting to the air and fire elements. It is something that is appealing in theory, but on its own, it can be threatening. The idea of living close to nature and experience the natural world might sound attractive but in actuality this type is much better at civilized and ambitious social endeavours and making a difference on a collective level than coming face to face with the bare bones of reality. Too much reality will cause this person to want to escape, perhaps not physically but mentally and spiritually. Being trapped under higher authority (mother nature) makes this person’s skin crawl.
Aquarius Sun – Cancer Moon
The conscious self-expression of this person is very rational, disciplined, intellectual and understanding. Aquarius Suns always have a humanitarian spirit although this love of the collective might take its toll in personal relationships. This person can have fun with ideas to the point of getting consumed in a personal thought-scape of complete autonomy and freedom. Coupled with the Cancer Moon, however, the person is not allowed to escape into the conceptual realm too much. Cancer is an emotional sign that represents the mother archetype – both in its light and dark expression. Shakira has this combo and she’s temperamentally very creative and instinctual (her song “she wolf” certainly reflects this). On a soul level she belongs to mother nature, governed by the tides, half domesticated half wild. With this specific combo, individuality, intellectual freedom and neurotic magic is married. The vulnerable emotional nature adds richness to the personality while the cool headed self-expression gives her credibility and the opportunity to be taken seriously. Cancers Moons often feel like the world is a scary place and everything that isn’t familiar is approached carefully. The instinct to preserve and protect is quite strong which can make this person give off emotional vapors that are claustrophobic. The guilt that the Cancer Moon is able to instill is quite powerful and stings just as badly as that of a Scorpio Moon, though Scorpios are more patient and conceal their emotions better. Most Cancer Moons are very understanding, nurturing and sentimental. Coupled with an Aquarian self-expression this compassion can be broadened and expanded to include larger groups of people. Freedom is very important to the Aquarius Sun, but when it’s coupled with a Cancer Moon the person needs to be contained through close personal relationships. It’s not enough to have personal freedom, there’s an instinctual need for “family”, whether it’s a family in the traditional sense or a group of friends that has formed strong bonds. The latter alternative might fit this person like a glove, it combines both the Aquarian desire for independence and liberty within a group and the Cancerian need for emotional closeness. It’s a little bit more of a challenge to live with this combo of signs than it is for the Aquarius-Aries person because the Aquarian idealism is so different from the Cancerian emotionalism. It’s difficult to want to be free and crave security and emotional containment at the same time. Yet, these very different dimensions are what this type has to attempt to combine. I would say that if the person can get to a point of seeing that there are opportunities available and that there’s choice involved in starting a family or settling down somewhere to nurture the emotional-intuitive side it would work out fine. The key is to keep the doors to the world open while committing to a personal life as well. This can take a toll, because it usually means that there’s a lot of scheduling and planning that needs to be done in order to fit all the parts of the personality into everyday life. Nevertheless, it has to be done because there’s no way to find satisfaction any other way. Usually, the Moon will take over if it’s not acknowledged because the Sun is more of a conscious expression than a need.
Aquarius Sun – Libra Moon
Double air! This combo is bound to signify a highly intellectual person that lives primarily in the mind. It describes a person who has an original vision for life that lives for the potential progression of the self and of humanity but is quite infantile on an emotional level. While this is usually a social person that needs mental stimulation and interaction, it’s also someone who’ll find that relating through discussion and communication is not enough to sustain a relationship. This person lives for the perfected ideal, a neat and tidy conceptual reality. Life never accommodates, sadly, and the attempt to make sense of everything through the mental faculties doesn’t always work. Although the Aquarian identity is designed to go against the grain and display a pronounced individuality, the Libra Moon is not very comfortable straying too far from the status quo. Things should be balanced for this person to feel good emotionally. “Nothing in excess” is the basic instinct of the Libra temperament. Refinement and sweetness has to be maintained. Partnership is very important to a Libra Moon, while the Aquarian self-expression doesn’t really give off the air (excuse the pun) of needing anyone. At a soul level, this person needs reassurance and confirmation that the direction they’re taking is “good”. Directness is not something this type is very good at, there’s always a tendency to reason endlessly, making valid statements yet never arriving at a gut feeling of rightness. “This is what I need” is never stated confidently and selfishly, it’s always put forth in a way that spells out the reasonability of the need. Libra Moons need to be in harmony and cooperation. Although the Aquarian self wouldn’t consciously declare this because it is “free from all shackles”, it is a fact of this combo. The risk that comes with being a double air individual is that it’s easy to become robot-like, a social machine, a person that is relentlessly trying to reach perfection. This is no way to live. Another trap that is common is that the Libra Moon is so occupied with other people that personal needs are neglected in the process. Libra Moons actually need to consider other people, but it can go overboard. “What is appropriate/good” is never owned; it’s always something that is decided through consulting other people and turning to advisors and asking around. Though this type is likely to want to contribute with something of value to the collective and come up with something original that is exciting and unexpected, there’s always going to be a deep need for balance. The Libra Moon might hold the Aquarian expression back in this sense because it doesn’t want to be too “out there”, if it is, it should at least be done with style and taste. Messiness is not in the least charming. Being an individual is fine, but sophistication is a must. As with all air signs, intellectualization is a benefit and a detriment. Nothing is wholly spontaneous; everything has to be thought through in order for it to be related to properly. As already stated, this can take its toll in relationships because they are personal and not supposed to be dealt with through objective analysis. It requires emotional involvement, which is a difficult realm to navigate for the air signs.
Aquarius Sun – Capricorn Moon
This type is a highly original individual with an iron will. Capricorn Moons usually steer their lives with a tight fist. They are realists to the core and are pragmatic to a fault. The Aquarian sense of self contributes with a libertarian and progressive perspective but on a soul level, this person is not very open. This person knows how to work – in fact, anything that is easily achieved is not truly appreciated or wanted. It’s the uphill battle that cultivates character. While the instinct of this person is to work toward a goal and rise in the ranks, the conscious self is more open-minded and idealistic. While the Aquarian side wants to accomplish something in the world, it is not for the purpose of claiming ultimate authority; it’s to promote a vision and a way that allows individuals to have freedom and prosper, ensuring that everyone has opportunity. Aquarius as a sign is more socially concerned; Capricorn is primarily focused building something in the world through perfecting the personal will. Though this type might not be successful in the sense that they occupy the most prestigious position, there’s solid substance to this individual, ambition and strength that has to potential to carry this person far. As with the Aquarius-Aries combo, independence is very prominent. However, this independence is hard earned and worked for. While the Aries Moon has an innate spirit of freedom, the Capricorn Moon is burdened and pressured. There’s a need to prove that one is capable and effective on a tangible level. Aries also likes a challenge, but it’s more for the sake of it (the fun of it) than for a serious worldly purpose to confirm innate worth. The confidence of Capricorn has to be earned. There is certain light-heartedness to this personality though, provided by the Aquarian self that might seem strange next to a very earthy temperament. This person likes to express in a unique way that isn’t completely within the scope of what would be considered “normal”. Because Aquarians are so big on freedom, there’s going to be something that “sticks out” despite the strategic efforts of the Capricorn temperament of conforming to the status quo. Usually, Aquarius Suns are quite proud of the concepts they’ve attached to themselves and like to stubbornly stick to their mentally constructed identities. If anyone attempts to cancel or impose regulations, they will not passively yield. They will stick to their principles because their self-expression is a social statement, not merely a personal preference. “If I respect your individuality, you should respect mine” is the train of thought, and it certainly sounds reasonable. Fairness is something the air signs are very fond of – it is necessary in a civilized society to at least strive for this ideal. However, this shiny ideal might not be reflective of how the person behaves. The Capricorn instinct is not “free the world”, it is to ensure that something is achieved through discipline and sacrifice, that people cultivate character.
Aquarius Sun – Taurus Moon
There’s a lot of conflict within the person with this combo. The signs Aquarius and Taurus are not compatible. Aquarius is a sign of intellectual idealism and collective progression and Taurus is a sign of physical permanence and sensory experience. It is difficult to have a self-expression that is anchored in mental conceptualizations and principled freedom while having an instinctual nature than is quite slow, sensuous and stubborn while occasionally a little bit thick headed and clumsy. It’s difficult to marry these archetypes because they don’t add to each other; they pull in two completely different directions. I think that Taylor Lautner is a good example of this type. He is undoubtedly a very “physical”; he likes to draw attention to his physique, which is very Taurean of him. This sign is known for its propensity to indulge in the physicality of life. He is calm and relaxed in his demeanor and doesn’t seem too complicated (he’s also a Taurus Rising which adds to this theme). He is also very articulate and quirky, evidently proud of his individuality and identity. Aquarius Suns tend to think pretty highly of themselves because they are idealists and they value the concept of everyone being a unique person with unique traits and characteristics. They respect the quest for individual freedom and opportunity. The dilemma that this person would face throughout life would be whether to fully immerse oneself in the physical or pursue something more intellectual. Although it is possible to combine, it’s not for nothing that people tend to stereotype the intellectual vs. the athlete. These roles can seem mutually exclusive and it’s probably something that this person has to struggle with. In a woman’s case, it could be that the role of “mother” /dutiful worker and “independent individual” seems mutually exclusive and has to be grappled with. Aquarians want to be acknowledged for who they are as special people that can think for themselves and pave their own path. They want to be able to hold onto the concept of who they are and often expect to be immune to coercion and emotional pulls. This is never the case; Aquarians are more sensitive than they’ll ever know. They don’t know what to do with emotion and often attempts to overrule them with the mind – which never works. Usually, what happens is that they are forced to recognize the autonomy of the feeling nature in order to not become robotic and numb. Detachment is both a gift and a curse. It enables the person to stay on track, to keep working and consciously compartmentalize different aspects of life. However, it is not always very healthy to do so. In the case of this combo, the trap could be to equate material and mental “solidity” with emotional well-being.
Aquarius Sun – Leo Moon
Two very ambitious signs these two, but they are placed opposite each other on the zodiacal wheel and doesn’t always see eye to eye. The challenge for this individual is to be aware of both contrasting signs that make up his/her nature. The conscious self-expression is geared toward social innovation and unique contribution to society. The emotional-instinctual nature is more self-mythologizing and self-centered. In a sense, this person is a walking contradiction because in all the seeming “group focused efforts” to create something that will be beneficial for everyone, there’s a need to draw the attention back to the self. “I made this happen” and “I stood up for this cause, I used my magnificence as the hero I am to make a change”. This might come off as hypocritical, but the fact is that this person has both the group in mind and is also very self absorbed. As always, the future is of great importance for Aquarius, innovation, pushing for change, improving life for as many people as possible is the path of self-actualization in the case of this person. However, it has to be done through the emotional-physical embodiment that is symbolized by the Moon. Leo Moons can’t really get enough of themselves. They are very regal because they experience life as a journey to the “holy grail”, which in this case is the awareness of the totality of life. They are blessed with a knowing that they are special and that they are the king/queen of the existential plot. The shyness that can sometimes be sensed in the Leo Moon is the hesitance of claiming the crown too quickly. They want to know that they are amazing before they step out and tell the world. Often times, there’s immense talent at the core of these people, but it’s sometimes difficult for them to trust. Claiming one’s rightful place is the instinct of the Leo Moon, not necessarily through sacrifice and restriction (as would be typical of a Capricorn Moon) but through trusting one’s innate intuition and capability. Paris Hilton is a prime example – she’s concerned with “bettering the planet” but she’s also a diva. No one can really argue with that. She is her own brand. She is her path. She is the queen. Though fire signs can be self-centered, they’re also very generous and inclusive. They often root for the underdog and want to inspire people to be their best selves. Coupled with the Aquarius self-expression, this person is likely to do this on a group level, standing up for minorities, lost causes, disadvantaged and discouraged people in society. This person can truly be a beacon of light, but it won’t be done in a humble, low-key way. This individual would like everyone to know about the good deeds and the humanitarian spirit. Getting attention is important to the Leo Moon, being recognized as special and not just “a group member” or “one of many” is necessary to be satisfied emotionally. Fortunately, the Aquarius Sun provides a certain detachment and more altruistic influence.

Aquarius Sun – Scorpio Moon
A quirky personality with a troubled soul is one way to describe this combo. Similarly to the Aquarius-Taurus combo, Aquarius-Scorpio is not an easy combination of signs to embody because they are not matching and mixing very well. On the one hand, this type is a fun and creative visionary with a light-hearted air quality that doesn’t come face to face with reality because reality is always in formation to the Aquarius person. On the other, there’s turbulent and intense inner life that never quite settles. People who encounter this type would immediately sense that although this person seems level headed, approachable and easy to talk to, there’s something highly unpredictable hiding underneath the floorboards which makes it difficult to trust this person. Though friends and contacts may be many, there’s a deep loneliness that has to be grappled with. Scorpio Moons are typically torn between wanting nothing to do with the physical world vs. immersing themselves in it completely. There’s a strong need to be in control at all costs. The paranoia that this sign is so famous for stems from existing in a state of perpetual limbo -if one commits to one thing or another it is done completely and fully to the furthest point, which is why there’s an attempt to linger in an in-between state. Sometimes it is common for Scorpio Moons to either plunge straight down into the depths and embrace the chaos or elevate above it for as long as possible. Once the person has leaned a bit in one direction the ground starts opening up and the black abyss is overwhelming. It’s like a poison, a possession. Life becomes a continuous struggle of avoiding being taken and permeated by life and longing for it to happen at the same time. The cool and cerebral self-expression might help with this, because it certainly contrasts the sense of being fated with a sense of being able to contribute with something different that is beneficial and productive for the collective. Although this person craves passion on an emotional level, Aquarius Suns are not designed to cope well with the realm of feeling. Advanced thought progression and pronounced individuality doesn’t change the nature of the soul. However genius, smart and open this person is, he/she is also in a primitive battle with life. On a conscious level, this person has a lot going for them – a lot of ideas and original perspectives that can be shared and used for the good of humanity. On an unconscious level, the person is high strung, desirous and thirsty but resentful of these violent urges that are claiming to be stronger than the person they belong to. There’s a desire for freedom in terms of self-expression with the Aquarius Sun. When pitted against the Scorpio Moon this desire can be taken to extremes. “I can do whatever I want”, from the Aquarian point of view is stated because it’s a social movement – it’s a quest for social and societal liberation. The Scorpio Moon never desires “freedom”, it needs true intimacy and merging – it craves realness. This combo can be very deceptive – the Aquarian identity is somewhat aware of the inner sensitivity that lies within, but its’ a mystery, a “dark force” that the intellect can’t fully control. On the surface, it would seem that this individual isn’t affected by anything, but the opposite is true.
Aquarius Sun – Aquarius Moon
Wow, this combo. This type is very much “up in the head” and enjoys telling people about the current personal mental occupation. Aquarians are somewhat self-absorbed, not in the Leonine fashion of having an intuitive knowing of one’s is specialness but as in being a “mental tower” among other “mental towers”. No one can get into another person’s tower; no one can fully understand what happens there. Every individual is special. Because there’s such a strong feeling of autonomy, there’s a natural acceptance of what goes on in other people’s towers. “It doesn’t have to affect me” is the common statement of Aquarius. “As long as no one tries to break my walls (=oppose my identity) I’m happy to co-exist with everyone”. If only things were that simple. Human beings are not built for ultimate independence and freedom - in fact when taken to the extreme, it can become destructive. I should also mention that a double Aquarian might seem very independent but more often than not, one is merely blind to the importance of emotional connection and comfort. This type excels in being exciting and interesting on the social arena, but when push comes to shove, there’s lack of receptiveness to other people’s needs and temperaments. There might be understanding present, but in an intellectual-conceptual say – not in an organic way. The instinctual and primitive side of life is not very well developed to say the least. However, in places where people value individuals who are a little offbeat, awkward and strange one would thrive. This usually implies city life that is full of variety and impressions but also of tolerance for deviance from the norm. This type would appreciate most things because there’s an open mindedness and universality to Aquarius that’s unlike every other sign. Weird stuff, niche stuff, far out ideas would be common for this type of person. Unfortunately, while this is gift, it is also a curse. It could be difficult for this person to relate to other people in a “natural” way. These types are so conceptually “advanced” that it often doesn’t translate into what society would deem “intelligent”. They are too “out there” too “out of the box” and too individualistic to be controlled. These people are their own “controllers”. They want to be ahead of the curve, which sometimes mean inventing things themselves, or investing in promising enterprises. What is truly fascinating with Aquarians is that they don’t seem to sweat it - ever. When things get too real and emotional they zone out. Emotions don’t “get you anywhere” is the common attitude. As stated, this often backfires… emotions are perceived to be embarrassing and immature by Aquarians, but in actuality, they are labeled that way because of a profound sense of deficiency and inexperience of the emotional realm. People often demonize the capacities they lack. The Aquarius Moon is a curious creature. One intellectualizes emotions and tends to deal with them as facts rather than as experiences. The upside to this is that there’s a sense of universality that is found through emotions. However, since emotions are labeled from the get go, there’s little life/mystery that is left. Aquarians can come off as rude sometimes by comparing and contrasting experiences through rigid mental molds. “I’m not anxious, I’m nervous” or “I’m not angry, I’m irritated.” It can sound a bit stuck-up.
Aquarius Sun – Gemini Moon
Another double air combo – the super cerebral Aquarius identity is coupled with an adolescent temperament that is all about navigating the environment and making connections. From a conscious standpoint, this individual is societally-socially and universally aware of the bigger picture and the levels of perception that can be accessed through changing gear mentally. From an unconscious standpoint, this person is simply out to seek stimulation - connecting with and responding to the multitude of stimuli in the environment. As a whole, this person is very unconventional, perhaps in a more obvious way than the Aquarius Sun- Aquarius Moon type, although the alienation and distance to dynamic life is not felt as strongly. There’s a different kind of playfulness to the Gemini Moon that is much more fluid and shocking than the detachment that one gets from an Aquarius Moon. Though people might quietly recognize that the Aquarius-Aquarius type is very far removed from the present in some distant mental tower, the Aquarius-Gemini type tends to be in people’s faces with the overall weirdness. Again, there’s too much fun to be had in the thick of things for the Gemini Moon. This type is more present and actively engaging because there’s an unquenchable curiosity at the core of this sign. Everything can be made interesting and exciting. People of all kinds are often perceived to be very fascinating and are actively sought out in order to discover something new or draw something interesting from the experience. This person is a little tricky to deal with. While the Aquarius Moon is quite fixed and anchored in a certain mental framework of individual originality, the Gemini Moon is very changeable and unreliable. There’s not a lot of honesty to this Moon because life is a play and shouldn’t be taken too seriously. Words are just words and can mean a lot, or nothing at all. This is something that one quickly learns with a Gemini Moon. Life is a playpen for the mind and the imagination. It can be extremely difficult to get this person to recognize “reality”, to really digest it and process it. This is not the nature of this individual – interaction is fine but integrating and consuming things laboriously is not likely to happen. The temptation to force facts down this person’s throat can be strong, because one way or another this individual always manages to wiggle out of pressing situations. This is a valuable skill, but it also leads to an inability to stick to anything for long, to truly acquire wisdom. Though there’s a certain genius to this person, it’s the genius of an immortal creature that stays young forever and is mentally unbound. Accusing this person of immaturity wouldn’t be fair because the Aquarius self-expression often has a broad vision and a genuine desire for people of the world to live more freely – to better the planet. However, combined with the Gemini Moon temperament the person might not seem very dedicated nor wholly invested in the causes that the identity stand for. One is too fickle, to inconsistent, too distracted and too interested in frivolous things to be a character of substance. “Running the country could be fun” or “fighting for civil rights could be fun” is the attitude, for better or for worse. Optimism is always good, but when it’s stated in a flippant way, it’s sometimes more concerning than uplifting to others.
Aquarius Sun – Virgo Moon
To summarize this combo, I would say that it’s the “independent hustler”. Virgo Moons are very sensitive to chaos and always tries to keep themselves structured and organized, even if this is only on a mental-emotional level and doesn’t have anything to do with “keeping the house clean”. Virgo sometimes gets equated with a kind of archetypal cleaning lady but this is often stated in a kind of degrading and unfair way – there’s much more depth to this sign than it would seem. The attention to detail, the analytical mind, the diligent learner might seem to imply a lack for charisma, but this is not the case. Take John Travolta as an example, who has this combo. I’ve seen that he’s been described as a sensual and intelligent performer – and it certainly fits this combo perfectly. Virgo Moons are both sensual and intelligent, however a bit prone to worry and stress, but it’s almost part of their charm. The Aquarian self-expression contributes with a cool-headed and freedom loving streak that can be both eccentric and stubborn. The person is open to new ideas and theories but will go through them with a fine-tooth comb in order to assess whether they can be relevant to physical life. Virgo is after all an earth sign and has to understand how things are going to work themselves out practically. Things that are too far removed from ordinary life will make this individual uneasy and insecure. There might even be a streak of cynicism in this person because there’s a knowing that somehow the little parts are going to have to be assembled to make up the whole, and it’s not always fun and games. There’s a vision, but how is that vision going to be implemented? There’s such humility at the core of this person – humility for the process and what it takes to make things right. The pitfall of this combo that I’ve encountered is that the person usually latches onto an idea that seems new and progressive (usually related to health, physical or mental) and it might become a bit of an obsession. Since Aquarius people are known for being open to try the unconventional, one might go a little bit far off into the realm of ideas and try something that makes sense intellectually but ends up taking a toll on the health despite the efforts to improve it. This person has the capacity to value the little components of life, their place and purpose. Some might say that it’s too much, that the significance of small adjustments doesn’t make that much of a difference and should not be focused on excessively. But, every process starts somewhere and every goal is accomplished through little steps, whether people are aware of it or not. This is the type that is very particular and can be insistent on seeing a specific vision through in a practical way. There’s humor and excitement as well as an unbeatable work ethic to this individual. As opposed to the Gemini temperament that is more playful and provocative, the Virgo temperament is serious and gentle to the point of not being able to take a joke and a quick wit. Virgo Moons are more physically anchored and intentional. They want things to work and information is used for a purpose.
Aquarius Sun – Sagittarius Moon
Both Aquarius and Sagittarius are universal signs, which implies that there’s a lot of awareness of social-societal context with these signs. It’s not so much the attitude of “me against the world” as it is an attitude of “me for the world” with this combo. This person came here to add to the big picture, not to oppose it or become too attached to it through deep involvement. This is an individual that is here to have a good time and live with enthusiasm, in honor of the future of humanity and the spirit of life. On a temperamental level, this person tends to be a bit clumsy and be unnecessarily honest and direct. There’s also a tendency to be quite principled – “I have seen the truth and I know I’m right”. Sagittarius Moons are known for making imprudent comments, not out of genuine spite, but because they’re not very sensitive, or rather – they don’t want to be because it would solidify the sense of mortality. This tendency could be exaggerated with the Aquarian personality because there’s a sense of being detached from the human experience enough to see it objectively. This type would give off the vibe of sitting on all the knowledge in the world and not really having to reach further than their own experience to acquire anything more. However, I must state that many Sagittarius Moon people give off a vibe of being wounded by being bound to physical existence and having a lot of resentment for it. Many are far from the optimistic bright lights that they are sometimes described as. They can be heavy-handed because they don’t want to acknowledge limitation and they become frustrated that people can’t keep up with them. Inappropriate jokes and ironies, casual insults, all of these things could make other people take offense. That being said, this person is also very understanding and often exceedingly non-judgmental. They respect individuality and appreciate anything that is new, original and big. To “hold back” is the worst thing one could ask a Sagittarius Moon to do though, they won’t be able to without feeling terrible. They like to voice their opinion and won’t be humble about it, though the Aquarian personality might be a little bit more diplomatic and detached, which would be good as to not let the fire to get out of hand. Sagittarius Moons can be surprisingly moody and anti-social. They are not like the Gemini Moons who can find excitement anywhere, in the present and in the creative mental activity and communication. They plan, and dream and put all their faith in the next adventure, the future, and the potential for more. Most of the time, these people are sad and disappointed in the mundane. Human limitation doesn’t sit well with this type. You’ll tend to find that they don’t do well when faced with weakness or human emotion. It’s deeply hurtful to them, to acknowledge limitation. Whereas it’s second nature for a Capricorn Moon to live with the awareness of lack, the Sagittarius Moon feel like it is wrong and extremely offensive to succumb to worldly limits. All in all, this is an individual that has the personal expression of a independent thinker (that is somewhat isolated by the mental autonomy) and that has the temperament of a horse that is free to run but can never go as fast as it would want to.
Aquarius Sun – Pisces Moon
Last but not least. This is a combo that screams “far out”. In personal expression, the person is an independent spirit with a liberated mind and a strong conviction of the importance of the freedom of the individual. Temperamentally, this person is receptive to the point of completely drowning in the noise of the world. Although this type might seem quite unbothered by the identities of other people and be civil and respectful of differences between people, the soul of the person is merged with that of the world and that which lies beyond. There are no rules, there’s only emotion. This is undoubtedly a spacy and creative individual that isn’t bound by anything, except perhaps the gnawing knowing that something is always threatening to overtake the separate self and make the person go along with just about anything. Pisces Moons always have to live with the threat of death, not of destruction and violation as would be more characteristic of the Scorpio Moon, but of the seductiveness of boundlessness and bliss that exist beyond the small self. The longing that is present within the heart of a Pisces Moon is to romantic and bittersweet, nothing in this world will ever come close to the dream of the perfected transcendence. The Aquarius Sun points to a selfhood that is based in collective movement and progression. I would profile this combo as a “chaotic rebel rooting for the underdog”. This person can truly move crowds and articulate a vision for the lost and misunderstood people of the world. Pisces Moons often steps into the role of the savior/victim/ artist or martyr depending on what makes the most sense in any given situation. Or, one finds a way to live out all of these simultaneously. The misunderstood artists, the compassionate and receptive therapist, the rebellious drug addict… anyone of these could fit the bill. This combo would be concerned with the future of humanity and what can be done to contribute to it in a positive way. More often than not, Aquarius Suns want change because they have a vision of how good everything could be if people only got on board with the new ideas. However, since the temperament is very open and dreamy, these ideas could be a little too far from what would be considered “realistic”. The ideas may not be the most practical because a Pisces Moon is not really of this world. Pisces is the sign of endings and there’s deep melancholy and surrender that accompanies the feeling of not going anywhere. Many feel as if they were only ever visitors in the time-space reality and will be claimed by the oceanic source sooner or later anyway. There’s no anticipation of an ultimate solution to everything, but while these people are alive they would try the best to leave something behind, some message or vision for people to give them hope and encouragement. Aquarius Suns are always concerned with making an impact on a social-societal level in some way. Pisces Moons wants to save the world from its end, but it’s almost as if they long for it as well. Nothing is very real anyway and it all passes with time and begins again.

be kind. be ridiculously, radically, endlessly kind. be a part of someone’s good day. send nice thoughts, send positive vibes, send support and love and well wishes. be kind. so often we wish for tomorrow to be a good day when we are at our lowest. some sort of sign that it gets better. be a part of that better day for someone. the world does not magically decide that it will be softer on you today, tomorrow, the next day. and sometimes it starts with a message from someone else, maybe a little bit of inner strength to pull yourself up and take a shower, maybe a bit of sunlight makes the day better. but it’s these small things, these soft things that make a day better. so be kind. don’t ever think about being anything other than kind. be a part of someone’s good day because you don’t know how desperate they might be for it.

Sometimes I'm overwhelmed by how deeply hurt and evil this world can be and other times I'm stunned to silence by its beauty so I suppose the only thing that's certain is that its here, and I'm in it, and I'll do with that what I can
