I finished the first practice panel. I still have a lot of practice ahead of me. But I'm improving. At first I was going to go with a sadder theming with that one scene from Rocky Horror Picture Show where Frank 'n' Furter is singing about going home. But then I decided Chuckles should be some kind of Golden Globe actor/actress that had just made a beautiful performance that could make the saddest sap weep from joy. Aka Rhett, I'd definitely see him applauding with tears.

I finished Stardust Rhapsody Voyage Chuckles, I like this design better than the original or secondary design. But there'll be a third design besides the two shown here, though you'll have to read the comic to see it when I'm done. And I made sure to practice with backgrounding as you can see. Things shall be answered as I release comic pages and have the story progress. Which will probably be less time since I now know you should have a max of 5-9 panels from what I've learned from looking at comics. So there'll no longer be me making a thousand panels.

I made this horrible abomination called long haired Chuckles. I don't like him at all. He's so off putting. Hence why I ain't using this design. He scares me.

I've been practicing more on making the characters look like they're from the 90s more. I think I did better this time. The hands mostly. They're still sort of annoying to get looking right. As for the background. I'm not sure. I gotta do way more practicing. But until then, here's Stardust Rhapsody Voyage Pyke. I took some more inspiration from Disney Gargoyles and Treasure Planet (It's from 2002 but come on). And I amped up the grainy texture which really added so much more, and I used shading this time. But I'm not sure if I'll use shading in the comics besides specific panels that are meant to display a specific emotion. Regardless my work continues

I'll be posting practice panels and backgrounding. Although, I should make it clear that the practice panels aren't canon to the actual comic. Just a means to make a nicer looking comic with more dynamics.

I didn't end up finishing the page once again. I love this idea. And I feel it was better with the varying sizes of panels. But I feel I need to get better at making a comic before I proceed. Mainly by looking at professional work. And try and pick up on things so I can make the comic better. Cuz I have a lot of stuff written out for the comic. I just need to increase my comic making skills. So be patient and I'll continue to post my progress and maybe I'll finally actually get a page finished.

Since in my comic here takes place in an alternate universe, the events of the high school reunion would have played out a tad differently.

So the context for the black and white panel is that when Drake’s identity was revealed, Megavolt slightly remembered him and Drake being friends. So instead of laughing at Drake, Megavolt just attacked and captured the bullies. 

But Megavolt forgets about Drake during the end again, and now Drake is back to square one but he’s not sure if it’s a good idea to get Megavolt to remember him because of the possibility that he could go after Drake’s family; i.e., Gosalyn and Launchpad.

I'm feeling more happy with how things are going now with the comic so here's a sneak peek of comic Pyke. Also, I'm listening to the Sailor Moon theme song on repeat. That shit is a frickin banger.

Here as a treat, I got this reject concepting for the comic. I didn't like the comic template, having the same size of panel didn't let me experiment with different angles and pacing felt so jagged. And I've changed things again because I didn't feel happy with this concept. So I'm doing something different since I found a brush that'll let me make comic panels of custom sizes. I like flavour and diversity with the sizes . And I ain't gonna make something that I wouldn't want to obsessively read a hundred times.

I don't have a sneak peek for today, but I have this picture of my Grandma's cat Hunter sleeping under my blanket while I work on the comic.

I'll be working on the comic from this point on. So far I've sketched out at least ten panels. And pretty much it'll probably take a while for each few batches of pages to be released. But I will probably post sneak peeks because I like posting things that the viewer has no context to and watch them figure out the context as they read. Especially when it is emotionally devistating.

Other than that, be patient. I have quail birds to look after (I might post pictures of the birds). The home I live in currently needs a lot of renovating because it's old property that a family member used to own. This comic is simply something I'm doing to fill up my free time because I loved the idea I had and I've been loving working on it and I want to finish it. It'll simply take time. See ya people later, I'll probably set up a specific time that I post sneak peeks through queing. Probably at lunch time or later in the evening.

I finished the final thing I needed for the starting of my SRV comic project. The Motlien home Planet. And man, the ideas I have for the inside will be pretty cool. And probably nerdy.
