it was bittersweet to see her again. it had been many times he had wondered what she did after she left but she didn’t look to different. but seeing her still set of frustration in him. she left without a word. “alright.” ace said before reaching for one. “and you?” he said as he looked at the guy who came with her, probably her boyfriend. the male put the bottle down in front of her, and then just looking at her for a couple of seconds. 

astrid wanted the ground to swallow her up, she felt so awkward. she never thought she’d see him again. if it wasn’t for her having family here, she wouldn’t of come back. the blonde tugs at her bottom lip, giving him an awkward smile and a “thanks” nod as the drink is put down in front of her. “a beer! whatever is cheapest” her boyfriend grumbles, she ignores his comments and tries to focus on the male behind the bar.
