"Yeah, nothing I can't heal." Jacen replied, gently closing his other hand over the bird and closing his eyes. With the Force he reached inside the baby avian and checked him over thoroughly, easing his shock and giving him strength before opening his eyes again as she pointed out the tree. He nodded and headed over there, easily stretching up to place the little one back in the nest. "There we go."

She peered over to the bird that now rested in his palm. “Is he ok?” she asked genuinely concerned. She looked around for the tree it could have fallen out of. She found it and pointed at it, “I think he came from over there. “

Jacen shrugged, following her into a standing position. "I dunno, what's there to do around here?" He replied. He took a step but then froze with his foot in the air, blinking and shifting his weight slightly to look under it where a baby bird he hadn't seen or sensed before was laying. He frowned and stepped back, crouching to scoop the little thing up. "Well hey there, how didn't I know you were there?" He asked softly, using the Force to soothe its' fears at having fallen from the nest and now being swept up by this strange giant creature.

She got up off the bench and stretched,”So what does my new friend want to do today?” she asked as her brain was taking in all this new information. No doubt she’d hammer him with questions later.

"So a lot seems to have happened here, when it's only been two years for me. This is weird..." He replied with a shrug. Then she asked him how he thought they were related and he studied her. "You look like Tenel Ka. So unless Anakin suddenly stopped liking Tahiri that makes you my...this Jacen's daughter..." He paused, eyes widening as he processed what he'd just said. He had a daughter, but she was practically the same age as him. He decided it would just be easier to think of her as Tenel Ka's daughter. Less of a headache that way.
Home?
“Ben’s in his twenties now. I think. Something like that, I’m not very good with ages.” She raised her eyebrows, still pretty confused. Ben Skywalker not existing? But he was supposed to be the part of the family that would definitely be with her whenever whatever it was happened.
“Different in ways you wouldn’t imagine.” She bit her lip, uncertain how to answer either question. Truth or not, he’d figure it out sometime. Hopefully. ”How do you think we’re related? Who do I look like that you know very well?” Best if he figured it out on his own, she decided. He was supposedly a smart guy.

"We worked hard to make it that way, and darkness still lingers everywhere. It's still better than when the Empire ruled though, when aliens were considered less than humans and Force-sensitives were hunted to either be killed or recruited." He replied, closing his hand around the rocks and giving the couple his brilliant friendly smile which had them smiling back and waving before they went on their way. Then he dropped the stones back to the ground and shrugged.
+ theunknownhunter
She listened to him as she watched the rocks swirl in his hand.”You’re place sounds amazing.” she finally said after moments of silence. She looked around and saw a couple walking by she took his hand and pushed it down as the couple walked by.

Jacen nodded his agreement, still smiling widely. "That's what I do when I meditate. We tend to focus ourselves wherever we're most at peace when we do so, for my sister that was always mechanical things and she used it as a jumpstart to get to the right frame of mind. For me I would let my mind drift into the nature around me, commune with the life if you will, to calm myself before focusing on whatever problems I was meditating to deal with." He replied.
It was nice to see someone appreciate the things nature could do, or what Fae could do with nature. “Everything around us is alive, it’s not all just energy. Have you ever gone out and just listen to nature? If you listen hard enough you can hear it live. It an amazing thing. Fae know how to listen, humans can learn too just not quite as well. They use actions like the giving back of energy mostly.” She said with a smile as she looked up at the tree.

"There are Force-sensitives born to nearly every species and race in the Galaxy. Though humans do seem to make up the majority of Jedi due to the widespread nature of the species. Whether a sensitive trains or not is up to them, we don't force anyone to join us." Jacen replied, smiling when she dropped the pebble in and adding it to the swirling he had going. After a moments conversation the small rocks formed into a rotating shape of a spiral galaxy over his hand, eyes shining with amusement.
+ theunknownhunter
She poked one of the floating rocks, taking in everything he had just said and did her best to understand it.”This is so weird, yet interesting. Is this kind of stuff only where you come from? Are there other planets that have this or have the capability?” she asked as she picked up a small pebble and dropped it in with the rest, a smile crossed her face like a child that had found a new toy.

Jacen shrugged slightly at her comment, acknowledging it but also showing that he was willing to admit something weird was going on and so he was patient enough to wait to find out the details. He wasn't Jaina or Anakin, to leap straight into a situation heedless of the consequences, though he had his fair share of trouble with his own brashness. But when it came to people, and to emotions, he was always patient and kind. It was his empathy coming into play and he kissed his mom's cheek when she repeated herself about the war. "I'm right here." He said simply, giving her a squeeze to help reassure her.
Home?
Leia looked up at her son, feeling very small. Although she already knew he grew to be tall. She had seen him the first time, hadn’t she? Her soft grin faded at that thought. “I’m not making much sense to you.” It wasn’t a question. She knew that her actions weren’t making sense to him. The former princess couldn’t help it. It had been so long since she had seen that face, let alone see him so full of light. Just to hold him in her arms was something of a miracle. “There was a war,” she repeated solemnly. “I thought I lost you…”

"It appears to be genetic, but Force-sensitives are also born into families with no traceable history of it. A lot of information was lost during a period of time in which an Empire ruled rather than the current Republic, the Emperor tried to wipe out the Jedi and nearly succeeded. So my uncle had to sort of start from scratch when the last Jedi died not long after training him. But we've found some files that refer to a symbiotic organism known as midichlorians which are said to allow the host to connect with the Force. But not much else is known." He set the rocks to floating above his palm, since there was no one else around to see, as he spoke.
+ theunknownhunter
“How is it decided who has it? I mean if you come from a family of powerful force sensitives then clearly it’s genetic right?” she said trying to piece together this new information that he was feeding to her.

"Sometimes, if they're powerful enough, a Jedi will begin to move things telekinetically as a child. Otherwise there are ways to test for it. It was nearly guaranteed for me as I come from a family with a history of powerful Force-sensitives. My grandfather, my uncle, and my mother all have it as well as myself and my sister and brother." He replied, smiling at her enthusiasm for the new knowledge.
+ theunknownhunter
She was completely enthralled with what he had to say, soaking up his information eagerly. “How do you know you have this telekinesis mojo? Is it possible to go on living without you knowing you have it? Or is there some telltale signs?” she said hammering questions. It was very obvious she was very curious and wanted more information.
#//Nah#//that would involve a crossing-dimensions storyline that I don't feel like dealing with right now#//lolz

"Telekinesis is one of many things a Jedi can do. We connect to this, energy field I suppose, that's everywhere. We can also influence the weak-minded or distracted, if the bond between beings is strong enough telepathy is even possible. We can make ourselves faster, jump higher and further and control where we land. We have the ability to sense life and danger as well as intent from living beings. Our reflexes are enhanced by our connection to our surroundings." He did his best to explain the abilities of a Jedi to someone who knew nothing of them or the Force.
+ theunknownhunter
She furrowed her eyebrows as she watched the rock’s fly to his hand. She curiously picked one out of his hand and saw that the rest remained. “ya know I’m glad you explained first that you weren’t from here otherwise I would’ve whipped out my gun so fast.” she said as she started explaining but was transfixed on the rocks he brought to his hand. “How do you do this? Like is it telekinesis? “

"I suppose the regular ones may be similar. I went to my uncle's Jedi Academy, to learn to use my natural abilities to keep balance and peace in the galaxy and defend those who can't defend themselves." He explained, turning his gaze to the ground for a moment and then holding his hand out palm up in front of him. After a moment several small rocks came flying into his hand.
+ theunknownhunter
She smirked, she liked him so far. He seemed like a fun person to be around and someone who could take her jokes and deal them as well. “What do you do at the academy? Is it like the academies we have here?” she said trying to understand as she thought the education systems were probably really different.

"Shh, don't tell anyone." He replied, giving her a playful wink. He ran a hand through his shaggy hair and shrugged a bit at her question. "I've been traveling lately. But I graduated the Academy so I've kind of been working, though it's really more of a path than a job."
+ theunknownhunter
She laughed softly, “you know who says that? trouble makers.” she said teasing him. She couldn’t help but to smile back at his grin, she was a sucker for smiles and he had a nice one. “So now that you’re not little anymore what do you do for fun?”
