I Love You Like a Dog by yours truly lol. Made this back in like summer of 2023. It’s a mixed media on canvas I made during my BFA and became the inspiration behind my final project. Materials are: acrylic paint, oil pastels, glitter paste and lace I got from a giant bag of lace and trims from the thrift store.

If you’re interested in my thoughts on it I felt that my interest in others crossed a line from human to doglike and I wanted to explore the feeling of love a dog feels when their owner gets home after a long day of not seeing them. The running towards the turning doorknob and the light shining from the open door is your person. Lmk what you think!!
