Orphan Black Comic Giveaway!

In my many pop culture adventures over the last several years, I’ve been very lucky to have had the opportunity to meet and speak with a few of the lovely people I admire from one of my favorite shows of all time - Orphan Black. 

The above photo was taken after I randomly ran into Jordan and Tatiana during San Diego Comic-Con in 2013 in a hotel lobby after their very first Nerd HQ panel. They were so sweet, hilarious and charming, and even offered to take this selfie!

And then I had the great pleasure of talking about the science of orphanblack with show runners/executive producers Graeme Manson and John Fawcett at a party during the ATX Television Festival last year in sweaty Austin, TX. Side note: my partner is a forensic scientist and we are obviously clonesbians, so Cosima was the topic of our conversation (and clearly my favorite…so far).

Why I am telling you all of this? Because I believe in good karma. The world of Orphan Black has been very kind to me, and I’d like to return the favor with fans who share my passion for this phenomenal show. 

During SDCC 2014, I attended both the Tumblr Clone Club Orphan Black fan party and Nerd HQ OB panel (photos above and below) - and was blown away by the enthusiasm and energy in both rooms. I love this fan community!

In case you weren’t aware, IDW Publishing has been releasing issues of the new and official Orphan Black comic book for a few weeks now. I love the series so much that I consider it a blissful treasure hunt to find and devour these incredibly detailed (and canon) comic books. I have been successful collecting them thus far, and in the spirit of geek giving - I would like to give away my extra copies to fellow OB fans. 

Written by Jody Houser and Fawcett/Manson, with art by Szymon Kudranski and beautifully cover illustrations by catstaggs - I have 7 of the 8 Orphan Black #1 “Sarah” issues to give away! All 7 comic books are exactly the same except for their covers.
