The Return: Electric Boogaloo

It’s been...I don’t even know? xD I’ve mostly been sequestered on Discord and Twitter since the Great Purge. I’m on the fence on whether I’m going to continue staying on Tumblr or not, but I don’t exactly want to just cut ties with anyone I have met on here thus far, or any of the new people who have followed me that I haven’t gotten a chance to interact with yet. The best possible way to reach me right now is via my Twitter or Discord these days, since I don’t check my Tumblr that often. Admittedly, the Twitter I frequent is one I have set up as an 18+ NSFW Twitter and you might see things you don’t want to if you go there, so I will leave another twitter I frequent as a way to contact me instead.

I also have a casual Tumblr that I mostly post Fire Emblem crap to that would be a good way to contact me as well. Discord is still the best way, but I am hesitant to just leave it out here in the open for just anyone to pick it up and message me. So drop me a line at one of the sources below and I’ll gladly give you my Discord if you have it, since I am literally on Discord 24/7.

I’ll also be trying to actually poke at people to see if they want to interact, but if you want to interact with me, try to reach out to me externally first, because...reasons I explained above. x3

I’ve been playing Three Houses since it’s release date. I am...neck deep in Fire Emblem right now. As an old fan of the series, I’m basically flailing about playing this game because I am loving it and I relish every new release of this series.

I still peruse my feed, so I’m alive. Just...Fire Emblem.

Summer! Also some thoughts...

Summer is here and so is the humidity~

I’ve been thinking about moving a few muses to their own blogs (Raven only at the moment.) I want to do this so I have a blog solely for them, but also because some of my muses have some content that might be (okay, it is) explicit and I’m not sure if everyone I’m mutuals with on this blog would be okay with that. 

Regardless, I’d still have it tagged (and sometimes under a cut depending on what it is) so it can be avoided if you still wanted to interact with them, but I sort of feel like this is my blog for my...less NSFW muses at this point. This blog is still open for NSFW with any muse featured here (and will be under a cut here as well as tagged), I just think certain muses need their own playground. xD

I never want to make anyone I interact with uncomfortable with what I roleplay outside of our own interactions. That’s why I have tags readily available and displayed in my sidebar for a reason (but I need to really clean mine up and explain them better on this blog; this was my first roleplaying blog and my other blog is so much better tag wise.) 

Also, just because I want to give them their own blogs, it doesn’t mean the only content I will roleplay there is NSFW; I still want fluff, I still want normal roleplay like conversations, walks, character development, etc. Everyone just wants something different as far as interactions go...and sometimes my muses are just built around/inclined to things like gore, or something else that not everyone is comfortable with.

I’ll keep their profiles in my Muses section, but any links for them will go to their individual blogs as I make them. In the meantime by chance if anyone asked to interact with one of them, I would inform them that they were going to be moved eventually, but I will still roleplay with them here until they are moved.

If you did read all of this, thank you. I know it’s kind of a rambling mess after me mostly poking in and out, reblogging things and liking things, but I do still exist! I’m just kind of floating around right now with the humidity of Minnesota being rude. >:V

PSA: Set your Own Boundaries. Don’t Let People Control You.

This is something I have been noticing constantly with some of my mutuals, especially with those who have tendency to be people pleasers. After seeing a few instances of how this aspect of their personality has put them in rather unsavory situations, I decided to write this post up because I think it really needs to be said to all because it is incredibly important.

I recently saw someone sending an anonymous ask to my dearest friend saying “You never respond to anything I send you,”, which my friend got heavily affected just by those very words. There is also the notion in the RPC that there are many who don’t respond to what is sent to them and only answer select people…..Which is bullshit because you can be picky with which you wanna respond with. After seeing them break down, I felt this is going out of control & a post is to be made which is this very post.

Please set your own boundaries, set your foot down when you absolutely have to. What does that mean? It means to not let people walk all over you because you were unable to set your own boundaries on how people interact with you. Now what does that mean? 

If you are uncomfortable with something, don’t follow through with it and say no.

Only able to answer select meme asks? Don’t worry, just answer the ones you can answer and you can either not answer the rest or save them for later. 

Don’t agree with something? You are free to express your disagreement, no matter how ‘unpopular it is’.

Diverting from what majority of the fandom likes to think about a canon character/concept/whatever headcanon wise? Go ahead, write it. You are free to express disagreement with fanon.

…And much more.

Therefore, if someone is out there trying to force you into the other way other than the direction you wanna feel comfy in, please drop them. They are not you. They have absolutely no right to control you in any form. I am saying this as someone who used to not set her own boundaries & was a bit of a people pleaser; going with what everyone thinks rather than what I think and even allowed myself to believe in the words of someone using suicide to control me & keep my attention and energy on them 24/7. After I found out this person has been lying and manipulating me the entire, that is when I decided to set my own grounds & not let people control me in such manner.

So…..I started to set my own boundaries:

I set what I am good & not good with. If I am not good with something, I explain.

If I cannot respond or wanna drop something, I explain.

If I sense bullshit from my gut, I listen to it. Honestly, please listen to your gut and if your gut is saying this is not ok or anything off, it is 99.99999999% of the time correct so please listen to your guardian angel the gut.

If I feel I cannot answer certain things, I try to explain that I cannot.

If anyone violates or pushes your boundaries, don’t give into what they want. If you keep at it, people will start taking advantage of you & you will be consumed by giving what people want rather than focusing on your own comfort and your own needs. If it is getting to the point your followers are starting to control your life & make you mentally miserable, please step back from tumblr & take a break so you can learn how to set your boundaries.

But Sche!! This sounds so hard!! I just cannot be mean to people!! Look, I get you, I get your sentiments all too well. But, do you think it is really worth giving your energy to people who don’t allow you to be yourself, control your own blog at your own comfort and all? I felt so much better when I started to set my boundaries, listen to my gut & learned how to say no to anything I cannot handle at all or at the moment. It is hard but rewarding once you get out of the people pleaser mindset.

tl;dr Please run your blog as you see fit. Don’t let others dictate your comfort or push you around.  You don’t owe anyone anything. Period.

No Animals Were Harmed

Muse A is a scientist working for a secret government organization that studies supernatural creatures. At first, the experiments began in search of an anti-venom to prevent other supernaturals from being created, but the studies have moved onto crueler methods as they begin looking for ways to make Super Soldiers with several Supernaturals’ abilities and none of the weaknesses.

Muse B is one of the creatures (ie, a werewolf or vampire). Living in a cage, constantly being poked and prodded with needles and forced into endurance tests, they clearly aren’t fond of Muse A or their associates. 

After Muse A gets promoted, they find themselves alone with the creatures for extended periods of time as they do behavioral studies and blood and body fluid tests. What happens when Muse A gets to know Muse B?

Will Muse B convince Muse A that the tests are unethical and get them to let them go? Or will Muse B try to get revenge on Muse A?

Will Muse A realize that Muse B is more human than they previously thought? Or will they maintain a superiority complex with the creature?

Deus Ex Machina (God from the Machine)

Deus ex machina refers to the plot device wherein a a seemingly unsolvable problem is suddenly and abruptly resolved by the contrived and unexpected intervention of some new event, character, ability or object.

Muse A can not seem to stay out of trouble. Orphaned in their teens, they wound up in the system and turned to petty crime as a way of lashing out against their foster parents. By their twenties they’ve formed a drug and alcohol habit and their life begins to spiral out of control. As they reach rock bottom, with no more friends to speak of and their life expectancy short, Muse B comes into their life. Muse B has everything Muse A has ever needed, support, comfort, and above all, a money and a place to stay.  Slowly, Muse A begins to heal, and gives up their vices, with Muse B’s help. The two never fight, and it is as if Muse B knows exactly when Muse A needs a shoulder to cry on, or when they need a distraction, or when they need love. It’s as if Muse B was made for them. In time, the two fall deeply in love, and there never was a happier couple. They like the same shows, music, and foods, and everything Muse A lacks, Muse B has a rewarding trait to make up for it and vise versa. Others envied them their love for one another, and as Muse A rehabilitates, life seems to be unable to get any better. One day, an accident strikes, slicing Muse B’s arm open. Terrified, Muse A rushes to their aid, and finds that inside the cut arm is metal. Muse B turns out to be a cyborg, a creation made as an experimental government rehabilitation program, designed specifically for the person it was sent to rehabilitate. Does Muse A still love Muse B after the discovery? Is Muse B really in love with Muse A or is it all just stimulated? What will come of their relationship?
