001. growing up , it was thought he’d become nothing. that he’d possibly end up in jail , or maybe develop some bad habits and end up dead. it wasn’t easy as a child , going from foster home .... to foster home , after his parents deaths. they couldn’t get a hold of either of his parents families, to see if they would take him. stability wasn’t a thing in his life. 

002.  for the most part , growing up jayden kept to himself , knowing he wouldn’t remain in the same place for long , making friends seemed pointless. he also had a habit of punching people , especially people who were ... mean to him. harassed him , he just wanted to prove he was stronger then them. 

003.  a love for music developed at an early age , after getting an ipod from his case worker. the freedom it gave him , was much welcomed. it also lead him to discover music from where he was born , and entered him into korean culture for the first time.

001. oh , elijah was supposed to be something of greatness. born the heir of the hart company , the son of the multi-billionaire. life could be predicted from infancy , but reality was actually different. one look at his new born son , elijah’s father deemed him weak , after being born a few months too early along side his twin sister. being the oldest child , and according to the rules set up by his great-grand father he was automatically heir. 

002. unfortunately his title as heir didn’t protect him from much -- it especially didn’t protect him from his father. growing up was particularly rough. his father was abusive both physically and mentally. he made sure elijah’s life was rough and had little freedom , his only friend his twin sister , emilia , for the longest time. the other kids he grew up around only liked him for his families money. 

003. the only protection he he had from his abuse was from his mother. a kind woman , who married his father , only to please her own father. she loved both her children dearly , always telling them stories of fantasy worlds. elijah took those to heart and loved making up fantasy worlds of his own. she leaves though , one night leaving behind her children. 

004. his father remarries and he finds himself a new friend in his quite new step brother. together him , his step brother and twin sister make an unstoppable trio. they’re his best friends , his sun within the storm his trapped within. 

005. he hopes as he gets older ,  his father would... learn to love him. it never happens. instead , elijah feels like he grows colder. his abuse only continues and elijah is left a broken boy , wanting to be free , wanting to spread his wings. along with spending time with his sister and brother , he starts finding comfort in writing. he reminds the stories his mother , and escapes into own fantasy worlds of his own. 

006. though they don’t help like he wants.  at sixteen life gives him the worst of blows. his father becomes meaner , colder ... his father sends his sister away after she announces she’s pregnant at just sixteen ... elijah finds himself in the hospital the same night she leaves after confronting his father. eventually he finds himself in the hospital again , after and attempt on his own life. 

007. a seventeen comes a bittersweet blessing. elijah finds himself experimenting with his sexuality. needless to say , his father catches him in bed with another boy and disowns him at that moment. he wasn’t having a fag for a son , that was the last straw. so what does he do? hope the next plane to his aunt and uncles, the same place his sister was staying. 

008. when he becomes of age , and finds himself greeted by a mysterious woman with a job offer , after seeing his pictures on his social media. a company called lune , wants to sign him as on of their models. what’s he to say no ? it’s a job , it’s money. not only can he help himself , but his sister too whose now has a child to worry about. he takes it and moves back to the city , with his sister at his side and a cousin who wants to explore and discover himself. 

009. they find apartment one they can share , his step brother even moves in. it’s happy .. he’s happy. they’re his family after all , the only ones he needs.

SOUNG JEAHO , was born during a rainy evening, in seoul, south korea , to a korean father & japanese mother. his parents love was a forbidden thing & his birth went unwanted & unannounced to their families. weeks after, his parents would pack their bags & move to the untied states, so they could live in peace & without worry.

they change his name to JAYDEN , in order to give him a much simpler & americanized name — in order for his life to go on much easier when he’s older. & for the first few years of his life , they live in BLISS.

too bad it doesn’t last nearly long enough.

when he turns three , his dear mother is diagnosed TOO LATE with chordoma, rare a form of brain cancer & isn’t given much time to live. & she doesn’t live long afterwards. leaving her husband with a broken heart & a young boy without a mother. it’ll lead to hardships for the father & son …. another life would be taken too soon.

bad habits formed, weeks after his wife’s death. ‘pon meeting a new friend, who swore to take his sorrow AWAY & away they went. a new addiction, one that would lead to an untimely death, not even a year after his wife’s —- leaving a poor boy alone. with family left in korea, who declared they didn’t want him & nothing else, he was sent to a foster home. where life would begin a new & happiness would soon become a long forgotten memory.

his early years were spent being past from home to home, no one really wants to keep him, because he was a terror. the one who was always getting into things, always causing trouble and acting out. starting fights with his other foster siblings, he had no sense calm. 

just anger. upset that his parents would just leave him, abounded him. he doesn’t understand how they could die, and just leave him like that. he’s just seven, when he decided he hates them. he hates them for leaving. that he hates the world for taking them. 

each foster home handled him differently, some he was just handed off after a few days. others…didn’t give him that. they took handling him in their own hands, he winds up with many bruises, days without food, locked in small spaces, and so much worse…his social worker knows too, but does nothing about these homes. 

it’s always a relief, when he’s pulled out of those homes, and he tells himself he’ll be good, that he won’t act out again. even though he always does, another kid always getting under his skin, and the cycle starts over again. 

at eleven he finds himself, in a better situation—still not ideal. it’s a foster home, with only one other child, a girl who was only four. and a sweet as can be. jayden chooses to ignore her at first, she’s annoying, only wants to play barbies. he chooses to remain silent and good, doing what the couple tells him to do. 

he’s still there when he’s twelve, with just the same foster sister. he still avoids her, till one evening he’s asked to watch her, after his foster parents have to leave to tend to a family emergency. she asks to play with him and for once he agrees. 

and he likes it. 

for the first time in however long, he laughs. for the first time, he feels some happiness…it was seeing her happy, that made him happy. 

after that night, they become closer. he becomes her ‘ big brother ‘ offically. and he swears, he’ll protect her no matter what. every evening after school, they do things together. always coming with new games to play. and some nights, they just listen to music and dance. it was probably one of jayden’s favorite things to do, dance. 

thirteen, he’s curious about where he comes from. so he goes online, does research about south korea, about the cultural, about the history. it’s where he discovers kpop and he discovers a love. a passion. it makes him want to dance more, to learn to sing—to learn korean again, because it’s been since his parents were alive since he’s spoken it. so he asks his social worker for help, and he’s given it. 

thirteen though, is also the age he’s taken from that kind foster home, moved to another one. losing contact with his  ‘ little sister. ‘  he’d find himself in another bad foster home, but this time… he had something to help him escape and calm down if the anger become too much again. it was kpop, it’s become something in his life that was helping him, leading him to feel better. it may have been a silly dream for him, one impossible for him to reach through, but he wanted to become an idol… 

he told his new foster siblings that, and they’d laugh at him and say it’s impossible. he knows they’re right. 

fifteen is when everything goes downhill, still, in the same home he moved into after the good one. his anger comes back in bits and pieces, as his fosters parents biological son starts to crawl under his skin, calling him names such as, ‘ gay ‘ and ‘ faggot ‘  —- when jayden swears he isn’t. one day the name calling becomes too much, and jayden strikes. 

and his foster parents press charges, and he ends up in juvie. 

during that time, his caseworker attempts to get ahold of some of jayden’s family in korea—begging, them to take him. finally, an aunt and uncle agree on his father’s side agrees to take him, despite their displeasure. 

after he gets out of juvie early, he’s sent back to korea, being offically adopted by his aunt and uncle. and he’s quick to learn, they didn’t truly want him. that he was nothing but a nuisance, they were begged to take care of. 

because of that, he doesn’t spend that much time at home. when he’s not at school, he’s walking, headphones in, listening to his source of calm. when he’s not walking, he’s locked in his room, still dancing and attempting to sing and rap. 

eventually, though he meets jisoo, taking a quick interest in him and wanting to make him his friend. pulling jisoo, into his games, waiting jisoo to have fun with him. they’d dance together, sing, rap….jayden was happy to have a friend, like that. someone he could do these things with, even if jisoo ignored him when it came to alien conspiracy theories.  

before jayden knows it, it feels like he becomes an official member of jisoo’s family….a real family, and jayden couldn’t be happier. 

with new found confidence, and the will to actually go for his dreams. he discovers and agency holding auditions, for trainees. so what does jayden do??  drag jisoo, to one. and luck find its way to jayden, and they were both in. trainees for a couple years before, 

in 2016, jayden would debut in a group, RESTIANCE .  as the leader, lead dancer, lead rapper and the maknae. and a boy, who was once told, his dreams wouldn’t become reality. has found himself, on the stage ; SHINING BRIGHT.

at birth — elijah hart , was marked at birth to be heir of his families business(es), a line of luxury hotels, spas and resorts. even if it was against his own father’s wishes — for some reason, at birth his father deemed elijah weak. maybe it was because he was born a few weeks early , or just because his own father deemed the same of him when he was born.

from an early age, elijah is bred in the ways, to be perfect, a gentleman and in the ways to follow god. the ideal member of high society. always told to APPEAR to help the poor, to keep up that good image, all while you still look down upon them. he was also expected to act inline at all times, though that appeared to be impossible—-difficulties, sitting still & paying attention were always a problem. it was always getting him into trouble too.

— and always lead this his father , leading with harsh punishments. constant bruises littered elijah’s skin. his father always telling him, that its what he deserves for acting out of line and being bad. even sometimes, when he wasn’t acting up … he’d still end up with bruises.

the older elijah got, the more he wondered why his mother never helped him. the more he slipped into fear, the more he tried to be good. but no matter what he did, elijah always seemed to make his father angry. nothing he did, ever right and his father made sure elijah knew that.

by the time elijah turns eight, his mother leaves. no word. his father blames elijah, telling him, that she left because she had a weak son. that she couldn’t handle the stress that elijah caused her  — despite, his mother only showing lover and compassion for both elijah and his sister. even if she never stopped .. she always made sure he was okay, kiss every wound and tell him stories of fantasy worlds, which always became the escape from the hell he lived in.

… even after she left. elijah still read her books, to his sister, hoping their mother would come back. instead she wouldn’t, instead his father would marry a cold woman and he’d gang a quiet new step brother.

with a new step mother, change came. his father and step mother always seemed to be out, leaving the three siblings alone, with a nanny. but given the time spent together, the three form an unbreakable bond, while avoiding trouble.

for a few years , life for elijah became good — he was happy , his father seemed to … calm down , barely laying a hand on elijah. heck , maybe his father was finally showing him some love … he was allowed new freedoms he didn’t have before. allowed to go out , make friends … discover himself a bit more. lead , to him discovering more of a part of himself, which is family would never approve.

when his half brother was born , things started to grow colder again. but at the same time , it was expected elijah to start maturing more. but with elijah that was near impossible. he’s always had a rough time … with being able to stay still, with being able to focus. he could act more mature … but his mind would quickly become distracted with something else, it deemed of much more importance.

his father didn’t like it, so he returned to old punishments.

the only two things , that actually kept elijah’s mind focused for long periods of time, is reading and writing. the two , become his greatest loves. they become the escape, they become his go to place, to escape the hell that’s become his life.  

the older elijah grows, the more elijah’s father expects of him, the more his father’s abuse comes, the more elijah wants to pull away, and the more his mind falls into a darker place — one he feels suffocated in, one he feels like he can’t save himself from.

it’s when elijah is sixteen , elijah reaches his breaking point. everything around him, had gone to hell. his sister, was sent away, disowned due to her sin, his stepbrother usually shut away in his room and his younger half brother, the star of the show. the only thing elijah was truly left with, was his writing and books. they gave him the brief escape he needed.

but … his father would get his hands, on one of the short stories, elijah had written. dealing with subjects, his father doesn’t approve of. after that confrontation, elijah’s mind dipped deeper.

he didn’t think life could become as hellish, but it did. elijah pretty much being forced, to follow the rules, be a good son, be worthy of his title of heir of his families business ( which was a lot more than it seemed ).

though, he reached the point to where her broke, to where he’d give anything to die. so, he tried it … and moments of that day is pure haze and darkness. but, he has his step brother to thank, for finding him in time … for, it gave him a chance for his life to improve.

and eventually, things did get better.

after elijah’s suicide attempt, his father no longer cared. he declared elijah too weak, to be his son and pretty much paid him no mind. took all his attention to his youngest son, self-declaring him the new heir to the families business. though that title, still technically elijah’s — unless he formally , gave up his position for his younger brother , or became officially disowned, much like his sister.

so, elijah did what he thought was best. gave his potions, to his younger brother. elijah was never fit for that title anyways. he was nothing.

then, a chance to escape his families home comes. his cousin, conner, moving to the city, with the help of his parents — bringing elijah’s sister with him. moving into an apartment, his step-brother already having agreed to move in with them…. and elijah , just … running away from his families home, moving in too.

from there, life has slowly improved. but … he’s not quiet their yet. still has his moments, still has his weaknesses. still breaks down quiet often, but .. he’s slowly falling into more of himself. starting to write again, starting to develop his own worlds.

yeah, from here on out, life can only start to improve little by little.
