eleanor likes to believe she’s a subtle person, the type to have people guessing. but the way her cheeks flushed red when the face of a specific person flashed in her mind at huamei’s words says otherwise. she clears her throat, takes a sip from the glass of water on the table, lets her eyes wander around the room for a bit before answering. “i haven’t been..in that situation before.��besides, siyuan doesn’t even talk that much—” oh no. the second she spoke his name into existence was the second she acknowledged her little crush. eleanor immediately covered her mouth, eyes wide as they look up at huamei, a muffled yet high-pitched screech escaping her.

what was it about him that screamed ‘certified babysitter’? was it his sunglasses? his fur coat? his naturally soft hair?—no, those are the answers he filled out in that one modeling ad he has yet to hear back from. whichever it is, alex finds himself walking in on a painfully innocent conversation between two naive girls. when news of the fiore decimo flying in came up, they were told to prepare for the unexpected, but he never thought the unexpected would be a second huamei. he takes the pterodactyl-like screech as his cue to make his presence known, ready to school these children about his area of expertise: boys. “settle down ladies. don’t want to disturb our ever-so-gentle boss’ sleep and have him burn us to a crisp, now do we?” he turns to huamei, feign disappointment in his features. “you, young lady. how dare you like someone without consulting to me first. i didn’t raise you to keep secrets from me.”
