How Edith would act in times of Covid-19 (3/3)

Edith and Bertie have a Netflix account

Actually, Edith and Mary talked Robert into getting an account and now they all use it :)

Edith binged Bridgerton when it came out, and yes, Bertie loved it as well!

She also loves Outlander and recommended it to Mrs. Hughes, that way they bonded <3

Edith had the idea to do regular Zoom Calls for the whole family, because Violet&Rosamund, Isobel&Dickie aren’t at the Abbey

Also, she takes a lot of pictures of Marigold for Rosamund and of George for Isobel

She’s just really doing her best to keep herself and her family happy and healthy ♥️

How Edith would act in times of Covid-19 (2/3)

Back in Downton, Edith takes care of getting everyone to the testing stations safely

Edith and Isobel advocate for a testing station at the Abbey - in a secluded area where no one in the house could catch the virus

They also make sure together that everyone in the family + the staff are well informed about the vaccine etc. because safety comes first

Since Daisy goes grocery shopping for the Abbey Edith offers to drive her, and they sorta bond

Edith is good at delegating, so within her work-life balance she can make time for her family

Bertie is the pro at distance learning so he helps Marigold, but Edith enjoys it as well

How Edith would act in times of Covid-19 (1/3)

Edith, Bertie and Marigold live in London, so at first they quarantined with Rosamund

They then decided to move back to the abbey, and Rosamund went to live with Violet

Since Edith owns a newspaper she can work from home, wherever that is

Speaking of her newspaper, it’s one of the most serious ones out there, setting facts straight, uncovering fake news, giving helpful info

Edith gives Isobel a weekly column (because Isobel is a doctor who explains things well)

When regular testing becomes available, Edith sometimes travels to London to her office
