I barely see anything of monk and survivor's family, let alone the third sibling, so im here to fix that.

also if anyone's curious, here are the pictures i used for reference because the colors were a bit hard to get right due to lighting in the intros lol

the first one is an image i found of an alpha screenshot. i forgot where exactly i found it.. probably in an old kickstarter or devlog...

yall should already know where the last two are from. but i am VERY convinced this slugcat family is the same family from the alpha screenshot since it also includes blue pup and one of the parents has a more pinkish/redish hue than the other.

Alright so, I’m going to explain some of my opinions here

I do not DISLIKE Moon. She’s actually pretty interesting in game, to be honest. She’s just not one of my top favorites and the way people depict Moon is really boring, despite the depth she does have in game. So basically I don’t care for fanon Moon but canon Moon is interesting despite not being one of my favorite characters.

I watched a bunch of lore videos before actually playing the game, and for some reason either every video I saw didn’t explain Spearmaster well or I spaced out during their section or both. I didn’t like them because I knew nothing about them before actually playing the game. I didn’t know they met Moon before her collapse and I didn’t even know they had no mouth.

For some reason, I don’t like Artificer’s default sprite. Which is weird, because I don’t mind the other slugcats sprites. I think they’re pretty cute, actually, and sometimes I’ll use them over DMS sprites. But Artificer not being this large fuzzy slugcat in game like she is in my head looks odd. Why is she bald WHY IS SHE BALD

I don’t really care for Rain World ships all that much, but Trafficlight is cute so I put it there. Fishstick, on the other hand… Don’t get me started on how much I hate fanon Rivulet. They’re so weird and I hate how when they’re shipped with Spearmaster people make them super creepy and obsessive. I didn’t see any appeal in Fishstick in the first place which only alienated me more from the ship when I saw how people depicted them together.

In this au, with the help of Artificer, he’s able to make it back to NSH’s structure. NSH is able to cure him or his rot and Hunter is able to live his life to his fullest now! He also has “The Hunter” karma symbol tattooed on his back over the rot scars, but I didn’t have time to include that sadly :’)
