You’re greeted with a screen.

It seems to be on, but the display is fully black. For a moment, there is silence. Then, there’s a click, and an image awkwardly shuffles into view. A video feed.

“Y’ello? This thing on?” A heavily accented voice rings through the speakers, followed by a soft beeping noise, and the feed finally rights itself.

“We connected?”

There’s the sound of technology being fiddled with.

“Theeeere we go! Now that’s what I like to see!”

“Now, I’ve been hearin’ all about this thing, what was it, live bloggin’? All along the ol’ grapevine. So I figured I might as well try it out m’self! Call me Goldie. Pleasure t’meetchy’all. Feel free to ask anythin’ ya like! I’m all ears.”
