One of my favorite parts of ToA/Lester fanart is that Lester’s just A Guy in them. Like, Apollo describes his Lester form as so ugly, and we know he’s exaggerating/has a screwed view of his own appearance, so I just adore when artists make Lester a perfectly normal guy/even kind of cute because it’s probably much more accurate to what Lester looks like than Apollo’s description

Anyway more on Apollo's 7 hour long video essay on folk medicine, I mentioned 2 scenes in it involving his sons and well.

TLDR Apollo got stung by bees. Godly bees so he can't just magically heal himself. Aristaios apologises with honey tea and a plate of cookies. (he probably made a tifw post later that day telling the story of how his dad got attacked by his bees).

Ascelpius is woken up 10 mins after he goes to sleep at 3:45am bleary eyed to have a zoom call with his 'manically inspired' dad. He's got a glass of water, cause of course you have to have a glass of water at 3:45 am. Apollo is too excited and forgot that even gods have to sleep.
