About This Reading:

The idea for this reading is about how 'your person’s' presence in your life will impact your confidence. It was inspired by how my person has impacted my confidence and general concept since meeting and being in a relationship with them. I do want to emphasise though, that this reading isn't about a lack of confidence or your person 'rescuing' you in any way. Instead, it's about how a positive connection can open us up to positive aspects of ourselves that we may not have been aware of and inspire us to use them better.

You have this otherworldly beauty to you, and I don’t mean beauty in the sense of physical (although that’s always a possibility!) There’s just something about the way you carry yourself and interact with others that your person will open your eyes to. You, my darlings, bring so much to the table and you don’t even recognise it. Way too often, you undersell yourself or let other people tell you that who you are and your capabilities are worthless. That is far from true. You have so many skills and such a warm personality or vibe.

I feel like your person wants to protect you from anyone who takes you for granted or wishes to do you harm, but just as importantly, they want you to toughen up and stop letting people treat you like shit.

Something else that comes to mind is ‘ugly duckling syndrome’ and the story of the ugly duckling in general. The card Temperance features a swan on it, and to me, that represents you. I’ve heard someone say the ugly duckling isn’t about people thinking you’re ugly and then you grow up and get hot (very loosely paraphrasing) — it’s about the fact that the swan wasn’t in the right environment in the first place, so they didn’t realise their beauty or value. That’s part of what I’m getting for you.

Your person is very passionate about you, and they want you to wake up and realise that you are more than valuable, you’re just paying attention to the wrong people.

I feel like your person plays a role in helping you see this about yourself, partly through your guides. How to avoid choosing a reading that isn't meant for you (in pac readings)

Consider the topic of the pac reading first, and then consider how relevant is it to you? Could you use a message about it? Is it right to ask for a message about it, and do your circumstances support it? Is it the right time?

Not every pac reading, made on every topic is made for you, and you know it in your conscious mind. Look at the topic and decide if you want to, and if you should interact with it further or not.

Then if you decide it isn't for you, please skip. You are not obligated to read every single tarot reading ever made, here or wherever.

(I skip readings all the time, because I know the topic the reading was done on doesn't apply to myself. Especially when it comes to romantic relationships, certain topics don't align with my reality because I haven't yet unlocked the milestone in my relationship that would allow me to even consider having a reading like that.)

That conscious allowing or disallowing will increase your intuition even more, because you are choosing to receive wisely. At the same time you are allowing yourself to be guided by the truth.

After choosing the topic of the tarot reading,

If you feel called to a card or an image and it's undeniable, and you can feel a physical sensation, a tug, an energetic pull, and a knowing that something is so right and true for you, then chances are that is the one with the messages meant for you.

You will know in your heart and mind.

Don't force to feel something or anything.

If the knowing is immediate and strong, then you can be assured that almost all of the messages in the general reading might be for you too. (just like it is for someone else) but there's also a possibility that the intensity of the messages might be different for you and for another person who picks the same reading. Simply put, same message, different intensity.

If you are confused between two, chances are both groups contain messages for you, but you should decide after reading both how much of the first group is meant for you and how much of the other group is meant for you. Discernment and understanding is important here, because both readings have messages that concern you, but not everything of both readings.

If you aren't particularly attracted to any group, there might not be sufficient messages that concern you in it. So please avoid it. Even if the topic is right, you might not have any messages, and that's okay. In that case, look into another different pac reading for guidance on that particular topic.

Do not try to receive messages on the same question more than once and so often😭 You are only setting yourself up for disappointment.

For this pile the world card sticks out for me, you could have been contemplating travel for some and others have been wanting to reinvent themselves. Whichever case, I feel like you were worried about where the money was going to come from or at the very least trying to think of how you could make extra money to do either one of these things. For those that are looking to travel I feel like you have at least three destinations in mind but you were thinking you'd have to save for a while before you could take that dream trip. And for those looking to reinvent yourselves, I feel like you are either wanting to change the decor of your home or room or you'd like to change your aesthetic/clothing style. For this pile I feel like going forward with actually planning to do/buy these things is what will open the door to the financial increase you're looking for. Now before you go and buy that new $1,500 handbag or book an all inclusive trip to Scandinavia, listen further to what I'm saying. I am not saying to buy it now I'm saying plan for it, so for instance if you want to take a trip, look into all of the details and actually plan as closely as you can without booking the trip. And for those looking to restyle themselves or their homes, look for all of the clothes or decor you want, create an account on the website you find it at, and add it to your cart. I'm basically saying go through all of the steps except for actually purchasing. This will create momentum, I'm seeing the domino effect, this act will be the first domino to knock down the rest resulting in an increase in your finances. I also feel like this financial blessing won't come as actual money for everyone that chooses this pile. Some of you will get the money and others of you will receive such good deals and bargains that it greatly reduces the prices of the things you want to purchase.

This pile reminds of pile 1 in the sense that I feel two different energies. I feel like both groups of people who will choose this pile are at their wits end, you may feel like no matter how hard you work you can never make ends meet or you only have just enough and you never have any extra money. For the first group of people I feel like the financial doors opening for you will be due to a new love, someone that will either provide for you or greatly lessen the load for you. For some of you this person could lead to getting a better job (I mainly feel like this is for those of you that feel weird about being taken care of). For the other group in this pile I feel like your financial blessing will come in the form of a side hustle but it's one that you really enjoy. I could see some of you being artsy and making little miniature paintings and selling them on Etsy or some place similar, I also see some of you cooking to make a little extra money. Whatever the side hustle I feel like you'll be making much more than you thought you would. Some of you may even be able to start working part time at your main job because of this side hustle.

These may seem like easy things to do for some people but in actuality for others, which I believe this group is among the others, it can be very hard work through because there can be a lot to unpack. But I feel like you've done the work and now you'll be rewarded in your finances for it. It could be that before you didn't have the energy or you didn't feel worthy of going out for a particular job that may have paid a certain amount of money but now you feel like you're qualified for it and you feel like you have the energy and stamina to actually do the job. I feel like you and this friend could start a small business together, I'm not seeing a specific business as I feel like there could be many. I mainly feel like whatever is a shared interest between you and your friend will be the business. For some of you this could be a hobby that both you and your friend enjoy and for others this could be an actual profession that you both happen to have. I feel like you and your friend may start locally and be comfortable with it just being local but at some point I feel like it will expand, if not globally it will at least be a nationwide company. It seems like you’re on a journey of moving from one chapter of your life into a new one. This transition has been one you’ve been waiting for for a long time. There are all sorts of emotions attached to it, good and bad, but the issue isn’t that these emotions exist; it’s that they are heavy. They are heavy, and you’ve become so entangled in them that you might not even be able to recognise where you begin and these feelings end. But you’re at a point in your life where, as you move into this next chapter, you have to put these feelings down. I think this is something you’ve been working hard towards. You’ve stepped up and become someone who could navigate all the hardships that life threw at you, one after the other. Help might have been limited or nonexistent during these times.

You’re moving from being burdened to being full of joy, excitement and happiness. You’ve got all these new ideas of what good/positive things can happen for you in the future. You’re finally getting the chance to explore who you are unfiltered and what way of expressing yourself feels right.

What changes is how you handle what holds you back from reaching an important milestone or some kind of success (and subsequently reaching that success). It seems like something is holding you back. You should be making progress even though slow but it just has you in such a tight hold. However, once you learn to manage a temptation or commit to overcoming whatever it is that chains you, you will find not only reach a big personal success, but also meet your person.

There’s a leap of faith of you have to take, and the journey of what it takes to get out of this cage doesn't feel like it’s in your control. Even though the eight of swords being one of the tougher cards, paired with strength and the fool-- I think it may have it's difficult moments but overall it will be a beneficial experience.

When it comes to what you can control, one of the first things that stuck out to me was a matter of controlling who you ally with. This seems like it will be an important factor as you wouldn't want to partner with people who will help to keep those limitations in place. You can also control how you handle conflicts (internally and externally) as well as how you manage impulses and spontaneous decisions.

The theme of what changes: 

Three of Swords, The Lovers, Queen of Cups

A betrayal or heartbreak of some kind (don't panic!)... finding your 'queen of cups energy' again (nurturing, creativity, emotional expression). So there’s multiple ways this could play out as always. My first thought was obviously a previous relationship which is always likely. However, it could also be a friendship that means a lot to you... not so much, but maybe a professional relationship and of course self-betrayal or you breaking your own heart. The theme is one having some kind of harmony or bond being broken and not by positive means. It may even take place in a way where it’s a little bit difficult to differentiate whether or not it was ‘accidental’ or 'purpose work'. Regardless, you have to find your power after this event takes place before you meet your person.

The partnership or coming together (that is the catalyst for the change) is out of your control. I don’t want to be a fear monger, but it’s not something you can really avoid or see ahead of time and determine 'this person or situation is going to hurt me in some way'. And the purpose of this event is to meet your person so I mean… I don't think you'd want to avoid it? It seems like the relationship itself will bring you passion and spark something in you-- this could be a new interest, passion project etc. It could influence/improve the relationship too, but the relationship itself 'burning out' isn’t something you can control. It will be a deep connection or meaningful event and there’s so much potential — but you can’t control that potential. You can’t control how much something or someone means to you...

What is in your control around this event is how you handle it and choose to heal from it. Making the decision to take the lesson or experience and use it to fuel you moving forward and to become stronger in the future. You’ll become more firm and self assured. For some it could be a first relationship or maybe a significant situationship? But I think you’ll definitely have what it takes to move forward and face any challenges with your person. So choosing to reflect and and ask yourself what you can take from the experience will be something within your control. Also I think whatever spark is ignited with the ace of wands, you’re going to be in control of how you harness that fire and make something with it.

Nine of cups, The World, Ace of Cups

I feel like there’s going to be this… I don’t want to say 'new found' desirability but a desirability you may now know how to work in your favour. It could be some kind of glow up or reinventing yourself that results in everyone suddenly seeing what you have to offer or how well rounded you are. It's a change the results in you having so many people clamouring over you and falling head over heels!!!

You also had The Hermit and The Sun as 'honourable mentions', so really doing the work to make yourself happy. It doesn’t feel like you’re the kind of group where romance or companionship is at the forefront of your mind, even though it maybe something you desire to have at some point.

There’s some kind of transformation that’s going to take place in your life, but you’re not really the one in control of it. It doesn't seem like something that you purposely bring about... just a natural flow of things. I kind of feel like you’re just minding your business. You may not even be aware how attractive you’ve become in the eyes of others. You’re more focus on doing the work and less focused on how doing the work is perceived by others. It doesn’t seem like this is a planned glow up either, just a natural outcome of trying to get yourself together.

What you are in control of is your pace and how you channel your creative energy. I think you may be a little impatient or impulsive at times, and those are the two things that you need to work on... How you direct your energy and where you place your attention. What you go after is in your control but there’s a lot of moments of spontaneity and how you channel or use those moments are important. How you nurture those interest of yours is something in your control too, as well as being able to soften that fire when it starts getting a bit unruly and out of hand and being able to channel it carefully again.

Ten of Cups, Five of Swords, Ace of Cups, Knight of Cups

The theme has to do with a new emotional phase. One where you’re actively opening yourself to love and embodying love… I think the change is being at a point emotionally where a love offer is ready to come in. With the five of swords you could have a better understanding of who you are and it what ways you might be prone to deceiving yourself.

I don’t know why but on this pile I was suddenly concerned as I was shuffling with whether or not I should include a section with have you met your person yet… or do you know of them. I think you may know of them but you’ve either never met them personally, know them but never met the face to face, or you haven’t met “the new and improved” version of them yet….

The Lovers, Black Numen, Six of Swords

Soooo I’m a little bit stumped... but here’s my best shot. So you can’t control your lover and what I mean by that is you can’t control who it is… but at the same time I was being nosy and trying to get insights to make it make sense— your lover may be someone you’re manifesting. Something in your life is a sinking ship as represented by the Black Numen. The titanic came to me as well (confirmation anyone?) and there’s the six of swords which can be about moving away from something physically or mentally/emotionally. Something is fading into oblivion in your life and you’re already parting ways when this emotional change occurs. It’s like a test of faith it seems. You can’t control what dissolves but will you hold on to this positive out look?

The swords in this reading are kind of depressing here to be honest, so doubling back to the theme it’s a challenge of mental dexterity. You could be down on your luck financially/materially as the pentacles are the only insights into the physical realm of this change. It could also be in relation to how you approach care for your physical self. However you can control the ways in which you limiting yourself (be it good or bad) and your attitude towards the challenges you may be facing.

What do they think of you?

Your in-laws first impression of you is one of being impressed and intrigued. From the cards pulled (including the next section) it feels like your future in-laws will be a very tight-knit family, so your future long-term partner/spouse introducing you is very much a big deal. I feel like it could be at a family gathering or you’re invited to an important event where you meet them there. You could give off the impression of being very regal and revered. I think your future in-laws will be very satisfied with you and see you as exactly what they want for their child/relative. They could also be cautious of you in the sense that you may give off the energy of calm but not to be messed with. They could view you as someone who is very balanced energetically. You could give off an enticing blend of masculine and feminine qualities.

You could also give off the impression of someone whose intelligence comes from observing a situation first. The only card that didn’t quite 'blend' as seamlessly initially for me here is the Four of Swords. You could give off a very unfazed vibe at times… or seem as though you’re uninterested in what’s going on all while simultaneously being on high alert. It could come from past experiences though that leaves you this way and I think your in-laws will be able to pick up on that as well. I don’t know if you’re sleepy or what pile 2, but something to do with sleep is coming through for you. I figured maybe some of you may meet your in-laws at night, for others you may have an intense intellectual energy and it’s like “Wow, does this person ever sleep?” Your in-laws may see you as someone charming, playful or good fun, but overall super focused and fixated on a specific thing. For some of you, you may not have the best social skills? You might say things that catch them off guard, but I don’t think they’ll think less of you for it. There’s not one uniform energy here, like I mentioned before, it feels like various people I’m picking up on (so forgive me if this feels slightly scattered). For some, they might seem a little bit detached or unexpressive but they like you. It could be that they quite honestly didn’t want to like you but they do, or the initial getting to know one another might be rocky before you finally get to a point where it's like "yeah, y/n is pretty great.". Regardless, you’ll feel welcomed and you’ll be received with grace. I’m also picking up on some may want to get on your good side because they see you as someone successful or capable of great success so they may try to wow you. It's not quite clear who's energy is what but I did my best. I think both you and your future in-laws may kind of flip back and forth feeling the same way about each other because I did pull some cards to represent your impression of your in-laws and was getting the same vibes and their impression of you.

There are multiple scenarios here so I split it up into bullet points.

Your future in-laws might need a minute to process who you are (aesthetic/interest-wise). (I also got they may need a couple years to come to terms with you? 😭 However, editing this it could have been that it took them a while to come to terms with their child/relative's type?)

I think you take everything they expect and flip it on their head, for better or worse.

I don’t sense any malice, but I definitely think that they may feel slightly avoidant of you at first? I don’t know why but I keep envisioning when you watch those movies and there’s someone coming over and the couple is in a panic and trying to act natural… I’m not sure that makes sense, but that’s what I keep getting. It’s not like 'Oh, we don’t like this person’. It’s more of an "X is coming and I didn’t have enough time to mentally prepare’. I just get this weary sense, and that they know well enough there is no need to be weary of you.

Another possibility that comes to me is your person/future spouse may have also been one of those kids that leave their parents stressed 24/7 (like my sister), so your future in-laws try to run every scenario through their head trying to prepare themselves for what their child's partner could be like. They could also be relieved that you’re nothing like what they expected.

It could also be that they could feel like you’re the one who's guarded and has a wall up, or you’re anxious about meeting them and they pick up on that?

While I was pulling the cards, “I’ll Make a Man Out of You” from Mulan suddenly started ‘playing’ in my head. Your future in-laws may kind of see you as their pet project of sorts. Not like you need fixing in any way, you might just seem like a good candidate for something one or both of your in-laws have in mind. Good or bad thing that’s on a case-by-case basis. You’ve got the hierophant and magician and for whatever reason, the imagery especially kind of put that in my head. They may have certain rules or values that they will communicate are important to them. Those two cards, as well as the queen of swords, are all holding an item and I heard a 'talking stick'?? Maybe it means something to someone or maybe I just need to rest lol. I think your in-laws will do their best to form a relationship with you. One thing that definitely feels evident is that they will know you’re their child/relative's person. Their initial feelings from their impression of you may completely switch when it comes to interacting with you. They’ll put a genuine effort into getting to know you, and not just a courtesy get-to-know-you type of interaction. They genuinely want to connect with you and understand you.
