danny with snow in his curls taking your little girl sledding and holding her in his lap with his long legs on either side, telling her she’s a brave girl for going down such a big hill when she's a little nervous, grinning up at you when you say to the two of them “let mama get a picture!”, laughing at her delighted shrieks and giggles as they sled down, carrying her on his hip as he pulls the sled back up the hill, giving you a snowy, smiley kiss as she says “again daddy, again!”

imagine going zip lining with josh and the boys when they have a free day on tour. he helps you step into the harness and helps you get all strapped in. he pulls one a little to roughly, “ow josh, you don’t have to pull it that hard,” you say to him. “sorry baby, just don’t want you to fall. what would i do without you?” he says with a cheesy smile as he gives you a quick peck on the lips. when y’all start making the trek up to the platform you get nervous because of the height. just as you feel the anxiety bubbling over, josh lays his hand on your back lightly “it’s okay baby, you’re all strapped in there’s no way you can fall,” he says reassuringly. when you make it up you’re nervous to go but also nervous because the boys are so rowdy while y’all are on the small platform so high up. once you’ve seen jake and sam take their turns your nerves are eased just the slightest. the instructor gets you all ready to go and suddenly you freeze. “josh,i don’t think i can do this,” you mumble. “you’ve got it baby, you’re just gonna fly on down to jake and sam and then you get to watch me make my way back to you,” he says to you as you clutch the harness tightly. “can you push me?” you ask him timidly. “sure honey, if that’s what you need me to do,” he says as he comes up behind you and places his hands on your hips. “count of three, ready?” he whispers to you. “one, two,” he places a kiss on ur ear stepping back just a bit, “three” he pushes you lightly and you go flying down the line. it’s fun and the wildlife below you is gorgeous. once you arrive on the other side, the guys are cheering you on. then josh comes sailing in and the minute he gets unhooked he wraps you in a tight hug. “was it fun?” he asks and you nod quickly with a smile. “told you,” he says before pecking your lips. a few stops later josh hops off the platform backwards and your heart leaps out of your chest. “josh wait,” you call but he’s already zipping away. when you arrive on the other side you slap his arm lightly, “you almost gave me a heart attack, don’t do anything like that again,” you huffed. he studied your face for a second before realizing it had genuinely frightened you. he pulled you into a hug and quietly spoke into your ear “i’m sorry angel, i know you’re scared of heights. thank you for coming with me, i’ll stop pulling crazy stunts.” you smile into his chest. “thank you,” you mumble before looking up to him leaning in for a kiss that he meets happily. “can you two get a room or something?” you hear sam interject as he gets ready to take his next turn.

it’s no secret that josh was interested in film. he filmed eveything when he got the chance. trips you went on were always documented in series of short clips he would take in your time there. birthdays were always remembered with little videos he’d take throughout the party. and when he heard he was going to be a dad, oh he just had to film bits of the experience. at an ultrasound appointment he takes a video of the screen and the heartbeat claiming he wants a recording of the heartbeat. “josh, you know they let you have a recording of it right?” you asked him. of course he knew that, he just wanted it on video for his biggest project yet. when the baby kicks and you can see little foot prints in your stomach, he films it. sometimes, when your bump has become more pronounced you catch him taking random videos of you on his little camera. “what are you doing? there’s not even anything happening right now,” you ask him. “i just wanna remember this forever.” and when baby kiszka comes he tries to film you as he held ur hand and you got ready to bring your baby into the world. that is until he realized how much pain you were in and opted to put the camera to rest in favor of climbing behind you in the bed so you could lean against him and squeeze his hands when needed. he films the first time you hold your baby girl when she’s brought back wrapped up in pink blankets and a tiny pink hat. “josh, can i film you holding her?” you ask him and he nods quickly setting the camera beside you before he sits next to you and gently grabs the baby from your hands. you start the camera as josh is entranced by his baby girl. “hi baby, aren’t you just so pretty huh? you look just like your mama, beautiful,” he whispers to her as he sheds a few tears

imagine visiting the kiszka household for the holidays and you’re looking through old pictures of you and josh that karen had put together. she kept a picture book full of pictures of you and josh, starting from the day the two of you first became friends in middle school. “look at that,” karen said pointing to a picture of you and all three of the kiszka boys covered in paint, “i’ll never forget walking out to the backyard to see the four of you throwing paint at each other,” she laughed. “we wanted to have a paintball gun fight and sam decided to just fill up water balloons with paint,” you laughed along recalling the day sam had brilliantly put paint into water balloons so you all could have a paintball war. you looked through more of the photos laughing and recalling old stories. “oh, and this is when josh was in his senior play,” she smiled. “i remember that like it was yesterday,” you recalled.

josh had just come off stage and was receiving hugs and gifts from his family. you took pictures for everyone who asked and after taking a picture of josh and jake he walked towards the camera pulling an infamous josh face. “josh,” you giggled as he got closer and closer to the camera, “you crazy, i’m trying to take good pictures what are you doing?” he pulled you into a hug before answering “coming to give my girl a hug. thank you for coming to support me angel,” he mumbled into your hair as he hugged you. “always,” you smiled hugging him.

josh walked into the room seeing you sitting with his mom and came to see what you were looking at. “oh, i remember that,” he said as he leaned over the back of the couch between you and karen. “i knew you were the one for me when you put up with coming to all my crazy shows in high school. i mean, you still do but hopefully they’re at least a little more entertaining now” he joked as he leaned down to place a kiss on top of your head, brushing your hair back before leaving you and karen to continue looking through the book.
