My own shawl design the "Tamovon Shawl" which I am really pleased with if I do say so myself. It's a nice size and made with aran yarn which is very cuddly and warm. I put my big thick coat on yesterday for the first time. I wasnt particularly cold but it did keep the chill out but it most definitely kept me dry. I've never seen so much rain... on the main road near my estate it floods every time we get substantial rain and I hate driving through it. I've only got a little car and I always worry the water will come in and that my brakes wont work. I've noticed on the weather it's going to rain pretty much all week. I live the colours on this infinity scarf, just like a rainbow. A great scarf to accessorise a winter coat. Its definitely time to get ready now! I've got a new coat ready for the wet weather ahead. I invested in a waxed coat because I just had not got a decent waterproof coat. My other one is fab but it's a woollen one so no good on rainy days. I just need to decide what colour scarf etc I'm going for now. The waxed jacket is an olive green colour so I'm not sure about the blue infinity scarf. I remember my nan saying "blue and green never seen". I have got some deep red yarn that I may use. Earwarmers are ready, my infinity scarves are ready but the great British weather has other ideas. I'm not complaining honestly because I love this warmer weather but British weather is so bizarre. Planning to make the most of this unexpected sunshine today. I have to go shopping this morning then pop over to see my brother for a while after lunch but I plan on sitting out in the garden for a while after that. Our summer flowers are still in full bloom and our garden still looks colourful for now. These flower brooches I make will have to provide #flowerpower over the Autumn and winter seasons when the frosts attack. They are great to add colour around the home or on shopping bags and jackets.
