Random hcs part 2!

Figured I'd do part 2 of the headcannons:

When Robotnik took over Mobotropolis, Aleena only had a day to evacuate everyone to knothole and was forced to separate her kids.

Brenadette was thrown into the void after she got captured. Jules, however, got severely wounded and robotized.

The distance between Mobodoon and Mobotropolis is roughly 6 hours.

Alicia was Aleena's childhood friend and lady in waiting. Unfortunately, Alicia got ill and passed away when Sally was three.

Both the house of acorns and the knight of Hedgehog agree that Sally and one of the triplets will be destined to marry, thus uniting the kingdoms.

Knuckles met the freedom fighters after they helped the chaotix deal with Robotnik and Team hooligan.

Gold the tenrec is a faithful companion to the freedom fighters and very loyal to Queen Aleena.

Eggman is a brother to Julian and took up the mantle after his brother was defeated.

What Hedgehog Are You?

I find the Sonic franchise interesting because it’s one where people will play the games, even if the games aren’t necessarily very good, just for the characters themselves (Which is why sports spin-offs are even a thing). People love the designs and hell sometimes the narratives they’re involved in aren’t even very fleshed out, so there’s not always an emphasis on writing. A game needn’t even develop a character or portray anything new about them... But the characters!!!

People love fleshing them out and maybe the space to work with helps. They have a charm so it’s no wonder the franchise can keep going through a personality that speaks for itself, and even the inconsistency and struggle of the games kinda lends itself an endearing character, a humanized underdog of sorts. So like this Sonic RPG has a placeholder of a soundtrack and is overall kinda mid but it has Cream the Rabbit so I gotta go check it out.

Sonic is unique as a hero character, when you really think about it. 

- a speedster but not quite “hyper” like one - calm and laidback, yet has the fiercest temper when he sees injustice - aversion to crying and negativity - loves nature but encourages the beneficial use of technology (i.e., the Tornado, Tails’ inventions) - likes reading for fun but is more “street smart” than book smart - amicable, can befriend almost anyone - stubborn but not blindly so - vivid imagination, cheeky, a bit of a smartass - sometimes irritable - a narcissistic tongue, yet humble - somewhat tense around violent characters (like Metal and Shadow)

I always kinda thought Chip looked a little like a chao... then this comic happened! (Not a reincarnation situation or anything, just a chao that looks like Chip in the same way that some chao can look like Sonic, Knuckles, Amy etc.)

This is a first! Surge and Kit were praised for their actions. They’ve never been treated like that before. Even with Starline, their training was always critiqued and hardly vocal. Now they got a whole stadium cheering for them. I wonder how this will affect their actions going forward. They were hired to help take down the Restoration, but what if they like being heroes? What they do next will determine everything.

I have to admit, Surge’s smile is adorable!
