Continuation of my experiments with shrink plastic.

A bit of the process: I had an idea to make a keychain consisting of three handmade parts and a whole bunch of beads (maybe too many beads, but I love when everything looks so varied and sparkly. What can I say - I’m a magpie)

So, the handmade elements were:

- Hawkins’ Tarot card, which itself consisted of three layers: a back piece, a decorative golden element in the center, and a frame

- The head of Hawkins' straw doll

- a small artwork with Hawkins (that one above)

Disaster struck during baking: the frame twisted like my spine after a long day at the computer or drawing - and it stayed that way. So I had to improvise later.

Hawkins, too, was dramatically determined to bend and die just like the frame. But not on my watch. While the plastic was still warm, I did my best to flatten it (not perfect but still).

Note to self: metallic markers worked way better than I expected for this 🤔

Do I like it? Yes!

Will I actually use it as a keychain? No, I’m too scared to lose it.

Steve Summoning Herobrine

Imagine Hawkins yearning for you. His usual stern eyes have softened, he feels a rare, delicate smile across his face for the first time in a while. The sight of you distracts him; he looks to his cards to check the probability of you talking to him, or at least looking his way.

When the chance of it is low, he takes matters into his own hands and seeks you out instead. Maybe he insists that he keeps you company- he wants you safe and sound. He’ll go back to his stoic face, but you can feel his eyes on you more than usual. His love is silent yet impactful.

Maybe he would ask you to join him in his quarters after a long day; when you shut the door, he lowers himself to his knees, burying himself into your chest, stomach, or shoulder (wherever he reaches). He’s such a tall man, so he would insist that you join him on his lap while he tells you about his readings or a rumor he heard; sometimes, though, it’s just silence.

He would let you fall asleep against him, likely messing up his somehow perfect hair in the process. Thankfully, he doesn’t care. He just wants you by him, and while he would never admit this, Hawkins craves your touch.
