Actually Jesse and James were considered one of the very best teams in team rocket. Their expense account was extremely large and they basically had free range to do with it as they please provided they at least called first before making excessively large withdrawals. It wasn't until Ash and Pikachu came along that they became failures, and the reason they keep going after Pikachu is simple, they wanna fix their good name and they were always very stubborn as you can see from flashbacks in older episodes they never knew when to quit. To be honest if they just gave up on Pikachu and did other things as evidenced by the first few episodes of every new region, they'd be looked at again as top tier members. I mean even in that 1 episode where Giovanni is trying to capture a legendary Pokémon and Ash and gang stop him Giovanni acknowledges how strong Pikachu is and its value. Long story short Jesse and James are THEE BEST at team rocket, they just don't know when to quit on a project that is too much for even their boss to accomplish.

Scale model of war!

So I was watching doctor who and in an episode the doctor puts up.a scale model of war and tells both sides that they are stupid which yeah they are but what gets me is even in the step that everyone always takes when all the fighting is done and they sit down and talk even than theres one thing one thing I feel no one is willing to do and that's put themselves into the other person's place we're told walk a mile in their shoes but do we actually ever do?, not really we tend to.... go off course from this in most cases because ... not it's not because we can't identify with them it's more we don't want to we're so it's my way or the highway the doctor who episode speaks of this a little when one of them says to the doctor you dont understand you'll never understand, we dont want to try to understand each other because we think we're so unique that no one ever has the same train of thought as us or the same idea I'm willing to bet there were countless people who thought what I'm thinking right now and will be more in the future I'm no different from this I'm not special but doesnt that go against what they teach you that everyone is special and unique every life is special every action isnt it's what you make of it I'm sure everyone will have somewhat of a different take on what I'm saying but are they really that different or do we just tell ourselves they are to make us feel special
