Describe someone you have (or have had) romantic feelings for.

For the record I hate this question, it’s like letting all of Auradon play a giant game of Guess Who? with my love life. But I’ll answer it because I don’t really have much more to lose.

So I had a crush on this girl for literally years. When we were younger it was basically just that she was pretty and nice to me - a thing that girls were typically not in high school. But as I grew up, I kind of realized that she complimented me perfectly. I live in my head, I’m always worrying about what to do or how to do it or about my latest gadget. I don’t take risks, I don’t do well in social situations, and I definitely don’t know how to process my own feelings.

And she’s just all heart. Like the kindest person you’ll ever meet in the world, always happy to offer up a reassuring smile or comment or just try and cheer you up when you’re having a bad day. And I thought maybe everything was going great, we made plans to get pizza and I really thought it was a date. But then she cancelled to hang out with this other guy.

And I really thought it was Game Over. Still kind of do, but I thought my feelings were gone. But they aren’t. They kind of reawakened recently and I realized I was being kind of a dick by dating someone else who didn’t make me feel just...the most of everything? So now I’m single again, still hopeless, and my ex probably hates me. It’s been really fun, but really I mean terrible.

For the most part everyone was currently inside the Sherwood Forest stadium watching their annual archery contest, but Mo was sitting outside by a booth called Cantebury Kitchens waiting for Riley. They’d agreed to meet up again for the festival, but she hadn’t seemed as enthusiastic about it as the last few times. Mo knew things had been weird since King’s Day, or maybe even before. It had kind of seemed like their kiss during their picnic date had been kind of nice...but not really what either of them expected. And then he’d stupidly texted her during the love spell, ‘i’m sorry but i can’t deny my feelings anymore, i don’t think we should be together. hope we can still be friends :)’. He was fully preparing himself to be dumped today and he really couldn’t bring himself to be that upset about it. It seemed like he and Riley had just had their wires crossed from the start and then that time he’d spent with Betsy on top of the Ferris Wheel, it just felt like things weren’t meant to be between them at all.

He shook himself out of his thoughts, spotting Riley a few feet away. “Hey!” He waved her over. “Thanks for meeting me, I hope this place wasn’t too hard to find.”

Who do you think made a really cute couple under the love spell? Who do you think should never, ever be together?

I personally think @rosemarydubois and @shadowmandraven were really cool together, but I’m not sure that she feels the same way. I did not love the idea of @julietflorian and @faciliersfreddie though, I think they’re better off as friends.

Good heavens, she’d always wondered how he tolerated being around someone like her when she didn’t have nearly the smarts that he did, but hearing him say he admired her made her heart flutter. She didn’t want to cry, didn’t want him to have to see her tears again, but at least this time if they spilled over, they’d be the happy sort instead. “Special enough to ride the ferris wheel with?” Betsy asked shyly, resisting the childish urge to bite her lip and mess up her makeup. It was just something she’d always dreamed of, and well… she couldn’t really have imagined Chad wanting to do it with her, even if they had still been together. The faceless boy she’d always imagined a romantic ferris wheel ride with in her daydreams was suddenly shifting into a very real face, and that face was Mo’s. “Pretty please with powdered sugar on top?”

Mo was glad that he could make Betsy happy, if nothing else. He hated seeing her sad more than anything in the world, so strongly that he still kind of wanted to punch Chad in the face whenever his name came up. And Betsy really did have the most beautiful smile in the world, even now when it looked like she might cry again a little. But it looked like maybe it was happy tears, so maybe that was okay? He just really didn’t want to upset her more. That was why he could never tell her how he felt about her, after all. It wasn’t like she could afford to lose someone else she was close to when she inevitably rejected him. “I’m glad you think so,” He blushed, trying not to take Betsy’s southern kindness to heart too much. She was always so good at saying nice things but she never meant them the way he wished she did. “The Ferris wheel?” His ears perked up. Betsy of all people had to know that the Ferris wheel was the epitome of romantic carnival rides given the way she loved love. Why was she asking him? Did she actually maybe like him? Had he been that stupid all along? “Are you sure you don’t want to save that for your next boyfriend?”

Uh, my fun group friend date for King’s Day got very derailed. And I’m slightly afraid to make plans for Westerly this weekend in case derailment by magic happens again.

What's the rudest thing you've ever done to someone?

I kissed @rilespan while under the influence of love potion, which was pretty rude to her and to @crazyyoungmaurice. I accidentally catfished @dizzysdesigns once. I sometimes zone out of conversations because I start thinking about art and then I have to pretend I was paying attention, which I fail spectacularly at. Off the top of my head. Wow, I’m kind of a dick, huh?
