something something Arceus is technically capable of doing anything but even Their actions are not void from consequence. something something they were born from consequence and it remains the one thing that stands above Them yet. It cannot (or rather, will not) interfere with large-scale threats simply because Its own involvement may result in an outcome much worse. Its power is too great, and the rest of existence too small -- this, It has learned. the most They will do is send someone else to deal with the problem.

what they don't seem to grasp, however, is that Their inaction has consequences as well. It doesn't understand why people blame Them for things -- if They disliked you, you would know it. It doesn't understand that doing nothing but observing is still a choice that It is making. They don't understand why some believe Them to be an uncaring deity. can't you see? They are doing this because They care. can't you see how much it pains Them? can't you feel it? how dare you. how DARE you accuse It of being anything else.
