Very beginning of our more structured homeschool pre-K. Throughout the year, I hope to acquire more visual aides, but this is what we’re working with for now. Small art table with stools for working on projects or worksheets, doubling as our coffee table 😅 and a small cabinet with books, globe, and yoga mat for lessons. The art supplies are all in the dining room. For the rest of August and all of September, we’re focusing on the mountains, woods/wilderness, camping, and horses (that’s the one forest animal that Jacob seemed most drawn to), and these are all the books we’ll be reading and referring to. The ones that have tons of sticky notes inside are fact books geared more for older kids, but I found quite a few facts inside that I think are plenty appropriate for Jacob. We built a Lego horse and made horse puppets today.
