Life sorta hit me hard these past couple weeks and I haven't had the chance to update. Should be back to a regular schedule next week.

After graduating, Nix figured that while she was still on campus, she'd finish off the remaining bits of her aspiration.

For graduating university, Nix got a promotion. She was level 6 and the degree landed her at level 7.

Then Nix headed over to the student center and hopped on the research machine. Who knew you could have a breakthrough while contributing knowledge, but at a price.

After that all she needed to do was hit level 7 of the research and debate skill and she was officially an academic.

Nix passed all her classes, though some were better than others. Which officially earned her her degree!

Graduation was the following day, and Nix's co-worker Becca was also graduating.

Woohoo! Nix did it! Three weeks of uni is entirely too long.

The next few days are uneventful for Nix, as she checks off a couple more boxes and finishes her last few classes for university.

At work, she's invented the clone machine, which should come in handy later on. Pascal was surprisingly absent from work that day too, so she wasn't able to talk to him more after their date.

Back at home, she's been working through the Good Vampire aspiration while she waited for school to finish. Which included drinking from two sims.

And while Nix was waiting for either on of her dates to make the next move, Kiyoshi does invite himself over. Though that doesn't count in her eyes since this a friendly hangout. However she does take advantage of him being over.

She's got a close sentiment with Kiyoshi which is making her flirty still, but their hangout was far from romantic.

Well, Nix had other plans.

It took nearly half of the date, but Nix and Kiyoshi finally got to sit down for dinner. Nix obviously passed on the meal. But she wasn't against treating Kiyoshi.

The date went well and it ended in gold. The date ended before they got the chance for any extra circulars. So they went back to Nix's place.

Before having to go to work, Nix was able to spend some "alone" time with Kiyoshi.

At the end of both dates, this is where each of the gentlemen stand. Kiyoshi has an advantage, but Pascal was unflirty so there was that challenge.

Either way, Nix wasn't going to act on either one until after she graduated. Perhaps one of them would initiate the next stage instead.

Next it was Nix's date with Kiyoshi. They arrive at the little restaurant and this notification pops up.

This can't be a good omen for their date.

So Nix keep Kiyoshi occupied out in the snow. Luckily she's immune to temperatures not that she's a vampire. Romancing Kiyoshi is far easier, so much that she pops the Romantic trait.

They've been woohoo partners for a bit, but okay.

Waiting for grim to clear out had some benefits.

All was going well on their date, Nix was feeling confident.

But then the townies had to get in on it, and Pascal got very nervous, resulting in him turning her down. And that turned into a mess all of its own.

After much shooing, Nix was finally able to recover. And she was able to regain some of the lost romance.

The date was a gold success. So they were able to spend the rest of the time to themselves.

When they finally kissed for the first time that evening, they had gathered another audience, but luckily Pascal didn't mind as much.

Before the date officially ended, Nix and Pascal were able to have some private, yet public, woohoo time together. 👀

Now you may be thinking I've forgotten about that little phone call. But Nix was waiting for a free day where the weather wasn't sunny, so that she could take each of her potential interests out for a one on one date.

First off, since Kiyoshi got a makeover, Pascal deserved one too. And perhaps it would give Nix a new view on him. Now unbeknownst to Nix, Pascal did have a daughter of his own.

Pascal first dropped by her apartment where they had a few flirts, then Nix asked if they could move this something more official on the town.

The two ended up at a local bar, where Pascal seemed interested in trying the same drink as Nix. Perhaps for science? Or maybe he wasn't aware of the fact she was a vampire? (Even though the transformed in the middle of the lab).

Things were going rather smooth. Nix was feeling confident. Will the rest of the date continue just as smoothly?

Since Nix is so close to finishing the Academic aspiration, a switch was made to the Good Vampire, which unfortunately requires you to unlock the "Tamed Thirst" which is under the grandmaster category. Guess that means we gotta progress our Vampire level.

So onto the computer she went to look up some information, but she found it bored and unhelpful.

Fortunately Vlad seemed to sense this, and called to offer her some training.

She successfully made it to Minor vampire on her own. But it's a slow grind, hinging a lot on the fact that she is in fact immortal. As a former (and technically still but it doesn't affect her vampiric ways), she took on the guilty drinker weakness.

Vlad assisted some with his training, but it's going to be a slow process. Despite her vegetarian beliefs, it does speed up the leveling process when she drinks from other sims. But of course, not without their permission.

The stress of work, school, and now having to get married lead Nix to burning out rather quickly.

So to combat that fog, she picked up knitting as a hobby. Turns out, she quite enjoyed knitting.

While it helped with the fog, it was at the cost of several unwanted neighbors stopping in.

Saturday Nix got an unexpected call. One that required her to marry in the next week in order to obtain a large inheritance.

Good news, she was sort seeing, but not seeing two different men. Bad news, she was going to have to pick one of them. Good news, Monday was hopefully the last day of university. So if everything goes to plan, she'll be done and can focus on the next stage of life.

Kiyoshi is her neighbor and drops around pretty frequently to bring gifts or just to say hi. And he's pretty social about calling her up for things. And they have sorta become casual woohoo partners without the official title.

Pascal is a little more reserved and doesn't drop by, but will phone her fairly regularly to ask her on dates or check in on her.

Both romance bars have decayed to zero due to her focus on school. But with the pressure of having to get married, Nix knew that it was time to see which one can truly win her heart over.

Nix enjoys some playtime with Luna. Clearly in a flirty mood.

Kiyoshi decides to drop on by for a visit.

So Nix asked him about what he was planning on doing as he still wasn't working. Kiyoshi still wasn't sure, but told her he'd think about it.

Shortly after though, the two found themselves in a heated chess match.

Which then turned into the heat of the moment.

While her and Kiyoshi aren't in any romantic relationship, they do share some natural chemistry.

Vlad keeps checking in on Nix to see how she's managing life as a vampire. But Nix's priorities are still on school and progressing her career.

Knowing that she needed to sustain on something, Nix took advantage of the little river by her complex. While she could drink from other humans, her former vegetarian ways made it harder for her to make that her sole source for food.

And in the process, she's discovering new ideas for her to invent at the lab next time she went into the lab.

Vlad, still keeps checking in. But he does have a point. She probably should focus her vampiric powers some more, as it could possible lead to sating the ravenous thirst that she is constantly fighting.

For now, the fish and special order plasma packs will do.

Welp, just because Nix was a vampire, didn't mean work stopped existing. Back to it. Love the new work clothes that she's spawned in with her newly attained powers.

Nix had a breakthrough while using the simray to mind control her coworkers to change clothes. It was Pascal who ended up giving her the idea for Snake Oil. Perhaps it was because she saw the abduction on his shirt and thought, gotta be in pristine health if the aliens want to probe her.

Nix successfully created the snake oil serum, adding another one to her list.

Luckily the rest of her shift was spent playing with the sim ray. Imagine getting promoted cause you mind controlled your co-workers all day. But alas, level 5 of the Scientist career has been achieved.

It was a normal day at the lab. And despite her cramps, Nix got to working on the satellite dish. It had been a couple weeks at this point and she still wasn't showing any signs of pregnancy, so perhaps she dodged a bullet with that one. But it still doesn't explain her cramps.

She successfully made the dish! But before she could test it out.

Her cramps took a turn, and well... Things started happening that she wasn't expecting to happen.

Well, maybe it was as Vlad had said. Cause when all was said and done, Nix was officially a vampire.

Upon arriving home, Nix is already getting a call from Vlad. Apparently since he knew his secrets, now she was obligated to join his cult of followers.

Well he did bite her. Hopefully she didn't become some sort of chew toy by joining. It was worth checking out though. Maybe someone could explaining some of the going-ons around here.

While trying to relax at home, Kiyoshi called up to ask her out on a date. After the cramps Nix was feeling earlier, she wasn't interested in going out on the town. She did however invite him over for some dinner.

They enjoyed some leftover gummy bear pancakes that he made previously. But the idea of food nauseated her and she wanted nothing more than to throw up.

Fear grew for a moment as she wonder whether or not her little fling in the observatory lead to something a little more. Well that's not something she should be thinking about while trying to enjoy some romantic time with Kiyoshi.

Nothing more had happened after that visit to Forgotten Hollow. Nix was starting to feel like it was a bit of a hoax and she just fell prey to some sick joke.

Either way, Nix still had to go to school. This should be her final semester. Luckily this time she had received enough scholarships to pay it off completely.

Even with school being paid off, rent and bills still needed to be paid. So off to work we go. Though, these cramps must mean Aunt Flow is ready to visit.

She and Pascal took their 'lunch' break at work like nothing has changed, aside from her dwindling appetite.

After lunch, Nix focused on reading through some of the Tomes, which gave her the idea of making a satellite dish. Perhaps she could contact somewhere in the beyond.

Unfortunately her cramps returned. Making for an unpleasant rest of the day.
