Scavengers Reign: I love this more than Annihilation
Scavengers Reign scratched an itch for the unexplained and alien that I've never had experienced before. More so than Area X.

Annihilation has always been a large inspiration behind my art. It always will be. The themes of self-destruction and all-consuming nature are phenomenal. Vandermeer’s prose is alluring. I can’t measure the impact that it’s had on me. I routinely listen to the books. Book four, which comes out later this year, is preordered.
Area X left me yearning for more. More world-building. More…
Over a few months ago I started an anonymous hobby confession submission form for individuals to vent, voice concerns, discuss issues, or just be weird with no judgment.

October 1996 marked the start of a cardboard empire that would engulf the hearts of many youths and adults.

Let's see what's on the workbench!
I have a few fun projects going on at the moment that have been keeping me busy!

Horrible Kit but the result is nice. Done with Greenstuffworld colors. Added some stuff (Highlight Model Studios) and Figure from Fujimi. Lionhead airbrushed. Base made with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
Made a bit of progress on my much-delayed streetcar / trolley /tram project. Not super happy with it, but it'll look better with a bunch of Blade Runner style ads all over it.
This is the Book and Magazine for the Cerulean Project 2023 a charity group build/art colab raising money for the Trevor Project. I participated and ended up being chosen to be featured in the big coffee table art book.
It's very strange for me because I don't usually think of what I do as art as the way I work is so process driven, with all kinds of planning and project management steps to get to the end.
So it was an odd sensation to sit here and look at these photos (that I took) in this beautiful book with so much other incredible work and think, wait, this is art?!
It's been a year since I initially signed up and 6 months since I sent in the final images, it's been a weird time but seeing it in the flesh made me so happy today.
