She almost could feel herself choking on all the lies she is going to tell her mother starting with I’m fine and ending in I’m alive. Her mother wrapping her arms around her, she couldn’t help but relax into the comfort. If Orion or Natalia decided to go for a run she would deal with it. Tears started to form and she lets them overtake her, ❝Mommy,❞ She whispers into her mother’s ear, she had to get on her tiptoes but still. ❝I’m sorry.❞ And she knows that she shouldn’t be saying this, she was already forgiven for this and really she wasn’t the only one at fault for her mother’s death. Her sobs are shaking her whole body, she knows strong emotions means strong reactions and that was met with just a slight wind starting up by her that easily could pick up in the night. Hope has made New Orleans shake back when she was 15 so this is nothing compared to that. 

Hayley knew that a few years had passed by with her having found peace since she’d seen Hope grow up just a tad. She’d matured through all of her experiences and Hayley had never stopped believing in her. “Don’t be sorry, sweetheart,” she whispered back. Of course she knew why her daughter would say those words to her. She felt guilty for Hayley’s death, but she had always hoped she could know that Hayley never threw blame at Hope. In fact if Hayley hadn’t taken Greta’s daylight ring off that bitch could’ve caused even more havoc to both Hope and Klaus. The vampire shook away those thoughts as she pulled back so she could look right into her daughter’s eyes. “I love you much, Hope. That hasn’t changed, never will, okay?”

Despite some students wandering through the halls, she knew none of there were any of the people she was looking for. Instead it was the headmistress herself that Hayley had her eyes on as she hoped they could talk. Once she remembered how to get to their office the vampire stood outside the door only to knock a couple times. “Caroline? Please tell me you’re in there,” she knocked a third time before standing back.

“You’re Bonnie, right?” she slowly approached the other. She briefly remembered the other girl from her time in Mystic Falls as a werewolf, but this was different. Back then she’d only ever interacted with that professor dude, Tyler, and Caroline. Now she was desperate for a different kind of information and she heard how powerful the witch was. “I need your help with something important.”

“Cami,” she spoke in shock as she sees the other blonde. As the shock sets in though she realizes that since she had also returned from the dead that so too had many others most likely. “I can’t believe you’re back too,” a smile slowly spreads across her lips.

Since getting her new daylight accessory she’s able to walk around and find the rest of her loved ones. She’s heard from others that some of the other Mikaelsons are in the city and she’s desperate to find them. Hayley hadn’t been sure who she’d run into first but once she found out where Rebekah could be she made her way over right away. “Rebekah?” she arrives as she walks around a corner and spots the blonde original.

With her new daylight accessory, thanks to her daughter, she’s able to freely walk in the sun without burning. The vampire wanted to spend time with her daughter, but also wanted her to be on her own with her friends too. So after feeding Hayley finds herself in the woods. It isn’t the bayou and she’s still bound, but the nature still calms her. She soon pauses to stand next to a tree and closes her eyes. She can’t help but visualize running around in her wolf form and soon enough a tear falls down her face. Hayley can’t help that it’s something she misses dearly.

Another note from Keelin: one she found herself staring at for a few moments only to burn the second she sensed someone else’s presence. Quickly raising a brow and composing herself she smiled some. “You know I’d prefer it if you said something rather than ominously staring.”

Hayley couldn’t help but stare. Her return to life had been unexpected since she’d been one of the few lucky ones to have found peace. The vampire gently placed a hand on the witch’s shoulder before sighing, “Freya, it’s me.”

(¸.• ♛ → She was walking in the woods, trying to see more about this town when then, a vampire attacked her, she didn’t even notice except when he decided to sink his teeth on her neck, the woman muttered something so that way would be able to push him away, the girl stood up and looked at the other one, before he could even approach to her, Davina was faster and broke his neck, he wasn’t dead but he was going to be on the floor for the time being. This was because she had experience with vampires, after all. “Who is there?” She asked when the brunette heard something, if someone wanted to fight, she would be ready, she already knew this town could be a bit dangerous.

Hayley had barely made it back to Mystic Falls when she found herself in the woods. Since she was yet to have a daylight ring and being a former wolf, walking in the woods at night was comforting. However, she stopped dead in her tracks as the scent of blood wafted through her nose. She was hungry or rather she was always going to be hungry, but she heard a slight drop to the ground. With her vamp face out she sped over to the action. She held back once she noticed the figure. “Davina?” she came out of the darkness and took some breathes to calm down and allow her face to return to normal.

She’s running in the woods, trying to free her mind of all the pain she has to deal with as if she can breathe and just let it go. roman’s memory keeps her up tonight and instead of going and throwing back drinks and trying to pretend to be good she runs, the wet cold ground beneath her feet and when she runs into someone, she is sure that they are an idiot for being out on the hybrid playing around. ❝Do you know where you are? This is the place were my wolves go running.❞ Her voice is sharp, a worry running through her as she doesn’t smell wolf on the other and she hasn’t bothered to look at the person’s face. ❝Hopefully thing one and thing two don’t decide to go for a late night run or you could become wolf chow.❞ And it is then when she looks up does she realize the reason she would even truly care if the other is ripped to shreds by one of her wolves or even herself. Her mother, the one that bore here was standing there ❝Mom?❞ @crescentxhayley

Despite missing being able to turn into a wolf and not being able to do it anymore, she can’t help but love being under the night sky. It’s the only time she can go looking for her daughter, but she’s sidetracked by the sound of someone nearby. The vampire isn’t sure who the other person could be, but does her best to investigate. As she sped over to where the other was she felt them running into her. Just the sight alone of the figure was enough to leave her feeling speechless. It was like the time when Hope had crossed over when she was at peace. “Hope,” her voice nearly cracked before she wrapped her arms around the other. “I’ve finally found you again.”

❪RIE, 24❫  ⵧ 🙶Is that PHOEBE TONKIN? No, it's HAYLEY MARSHALL，20/35，VAMPIRE. They came to the Salvatore Boarding House because of THEY'VE RECENTLY RETURNED FROM THE DEAD. They are FEMALE and go by SHE/HER.

Everything that happened to her on the show is canon, even if it saddens me for what happened to her and how her story ended :’(

 After her death she was able to find peace with her pack and even met the majority of her former family the Labonairs and other former crescent pack members.

Besides spending time with her pack she also watched over her daughter from time to time, usually with a smile as she’s always been proud of her.

Hayley returned from the dead around the 1st of the new year, 2033. Since she’d been bound with a spell to suppress her werewolf side she woke up as a complete vampire.

Fortunately for her she’d woken up just before dawn and was able to take shelter as she didn’t wake up with a daylight accessory.

Hayley woke up in New Orleans and made the trek with her vampire speed and a few busses to make it back to Mystic Falls as she knew her daughter would be at the school there.

Her main focus on returning is to just find her daughter and get a daylight accessory so she can freely walk in the sun again.
