Maths tricks for fast calculation
Maths is a part of our daily life. But most of the kids fear Maths because they fear big numbers. Numbers can't even be memorized, it always needs our fingers to calculate and get the result. Kids need to go through some ways that make calculations easy and quick for them.
Here we are sharing a few Maths tricks for kids:
1. Multiplication by 9: Take your both hands in front of you. Consider each finger has its own number. For example, let us take 3×9. Now bend your 3rd finger. Count all the fingers that are to the left and right of the bent finger. On the left, we have 2 fingers, on the right we have 7. Now put these two numbers together and 27 is the correct answer.
2. Multiplication of 3-digit numbers: For example let us solve 652×4. Now take every digit out from the 3-digit number and multiply each digit by 4 and write down the result as shown below.
6×4= 24
5×4= 20
2×4= 08
Now write all the results together: 2 4 2 0 0 8, leave the first and last digit alone. Add the 2nd and 3rd number, similarly add the 4th and 5th number. So, we get 2608. This is the required answer.
3. Multiplication of big numbers:
6 x (200+20+1)
6x200 + 6x20 + 6x1
6x2x100 + 6x2x10 + 6x1
12x100 + 12x10 + 6
1200 + 120 + 6
1320+6
1326
